A few seconds after Riki's phone pinged, the intercom rang. She sprang to her feet to answer it before Niko. All Niko could do was watch in amazement, wonder, and confusion.
"Bakit daw?" Niko asked.
"Wait lang ha...balik ako agad..."
Before Niko could react, Riki was out the door. While Riki was out of their unit, Niko began to worry. "Naka-mask ba yun?" he thought.
A few minutes later, Riki was back in the unit and she went straight to the bedroom.
"...baka maliligo..." Niko thought.
Riki didn't come out anymore and Niko became busy with his work that he didn't notice the time.

"Ano to?" Ina asked. She was looking at a photo which Riki sent.
"Ano sa palagay mo?" Riki whined. Her eyes were puffy from crying.
"Anong ginagawa nyo?"
"Ano sa tingin mo? Pero Ins! Bokik!"
"Alam na ba ni Nanay? Ni Tatay?"
"Ngayon ko lang ginawa to...ikaw pa lang ang una kong tinawagan..."
"Pero may plano ka?"
"...matatago ko ba?"
"Hmm...hindi..."
"Kaya nga...Bokiiiiiiiiiiik!!"
"Eh ano kasing ginagawa mo? Nyo?"
"...kayo ni Jake?"
"Anong kami ni Jake? Bakit mo binabalik yung tanong ko?"
