It had been almost 4 months since Riki moved in with Niko. She was considering putting up her unit for rent so she still had a lot of personal stuff stored there. She only mentioned about her plan to lease it to Ina so it wasn't really being marketed or advertised as much. Besides, with the current situation of people living in quarantine and lockdown, prospective renters were scarce.
Niko noticed that Riki would always stand by the window facing the street (and her unit) late in the afternoons. He would also see her peering over the wall of the roof deck when they would be up there for their exercise or looking and staring out their bedroom window.
"What are you looking at?" Niko would ask. Riki would just shrug her shoulders, shake her head, and move away.

One evening, Niko went behind Riki and enveloped her in his embrace. He nuzzled his face on her neck and gently kissed her while inhaling deeply.
"Iggy"
"Hmm..."
"Iggy.."
"Hmm"
"Stop"
"Hmm.."
"Please stop"
"Why?" Niko said but continued to kiss Riki while tightening his embrace around her waist.
"Stop please..just stop"
"Why nga?"
"Niko"
"What?"
"Stop!"
"Don't you like this? We always cuddle like this naman ah?"
"RICARDO ANTONIO PLEASE STOP!" Riki shouted.
This startled Niko and he immediately let go of Riki and straightened up. He looked at Riki.
"S...sorry..." Niko apologized and took a step back. Riki was still staring out the window.
"Sorry...but can you switch off all the lights please?" Riki said.
"All?"
"Yes, all...even the one in the kitchen please..."
