To make Kaia understand that other people existed beyond the boxes of the video streams her parents had during their online classes, Riki and Niko would take her out for walks in their neighborbood. They did this daily and served as their exercise, getting some needed sunlight, and bonding activity.

Kaia enjoyed these walks that soon, she was trying to put on her own shoes to say that she was ready to go out. And since they were the only people in their house, Riki taught Kaia to be independent early on. "Meeemeee...Dada! Wok! Wooooook! Meeemeeee...Meeemeee...Dada...Dada! Tuuuus! Aya, tussss!"

"Good morning!" Riki said as she entered Aya's room.

"Maaaaa....meee! Wok! Wok! Maaaa....tussss!"

Riki giggled while she picked Kaia up from her crib to prepare her for the day. "Ano ba ang uunahin natin, walk or dress up?"

"Wassss...abat!"

"Take a bath agad? Let's wash and change first then get..."

"....ooooo-gat"

"Huh?"

"...ooo-gat...o-gaat...uhmm...pis...o-gat pis..."

"Good please. Yogurt?"

"O-gut! Aya ohh-gut...pis..." Kaia said as she did the baby sign for 'please'.

"Okay!" Riki said. "...choose what you want to wear today..." Riki finished changing Kaia's diaper and helped her wipe her face with a face towel. Kaia ran back to her bedroom closet.

"...Aya want dess..." Kaia said as she entered her closet.

"Which dress?"

"...boo dess?" Kaia held out a denim dress.

With a little assistance, Kaia was able to put on her dress. "...dedi!" she beamed while Riki smoothed the creases on the dress.

"Okay!"

"...down....cheeeken" Kaia said as they walked out the room before going down the stairs.
