"Go potty..." Riki responded. She and Kaia were in the living room and Riki was busy with work on her laptop that she didn't bother to really look at Kaia.
Minutes later Riki looked up to see if Kaia returned from the toilet. She was happy to see Kaia busily drawing on the papers she gave.
"Maaameee?"
"Yes, Baby?"
"Maaamee Maaameee..." Kaia repeated.
Riki slowly looked up from her work. To her surprise, Kaia's face was covered in marker ink! When Riki looked at her, Kaia was still holding the marker to her face.

Internally, Riki wanted to scream and get angry at Kaia for the mess she made.
"I put da mekap layk da teebee..." Kaia announced.
"Put what?"
"Mekap....kolol da face..." Kaia said as she set the marker to the already scribbled on papers on the table.
"Oh, make-up. But babies don't wear make up..."
"Aya not baby, Aya pinses. Mekap...and den da dis..." Kaia said as she put the marker near her mouth. "Wat dis?"
"Hmm...I don't know" Riki replied, stifling her giggles while standing from the table to bring Kaia to the bathroom. "You know what? I think it's time for a bath..."
"Babat?" Kaia looked up at Riki. She was a water baby and the idea of getting to play with water excited her.
"Yes! Can you put the caps back on your markers first then we can go and take a bath"
"Kekay!" Kaia replied as she began putting the caps on while Riki helped her clean up the rest of the mess on the table.
"Ready?" Riki said, holding out her hand.
"Dedi!" Kaia took Riki's hand and slightly tugged her Mom as they went upstairs for a bath.
