Tsukishima Kei - Wake Up

It was that day. The same day you met him, and the same day you lost him. Reality is often disappointing, isn't it?

Sighing, you take you bag and left the house. Even if it was already a year, you still couldn't accept it. How could he? He promised to stay with you forever, and this is what you get? Betrayal?

You knew he was a jerk. A big one. But the way he manifested his feelings all seemed to be true. That's the reason why you can't move on. He was your light in the dark, yet he left you then.

As you entered the classroom, you were greeted by most of your classmates. Of course, except that guy. The guy who betrayed you. The one who confessed that he just used you.

You sat down your seat and was about to start reviewing your past lessons when someone placed a piece of folded paper on top of your table. You looked up, seeing your friend Yamaguchi.

"What's this?" You asked, taking the paper.

"W-Well, he wanted to give it to you," he replied and left. No words left your mouth. You didn't question anything. You fairly knew this day would come. Unfolding it, you read his familiar writing.

Meet me at the rooftop later, before club.

You closed your eyes and slightly crumpled the paper.

"Ugh, I didn't even want to yell today."

You took a deep breath before opening the door. Seeing Tsukishima on the other side pf the hall, you couldn't help but feel furious. After all this time, why would he talk to me now? You thought he already got over it, so why does he want to talk?

"What do you want, Tsukishima?" You tried to sound fierce. He turned with his blank face, staring right at you.

"I know you're still hurt, but I want you to know that I'm sorry."

You were shocked in a way that you couldn't process what he just said.

"After all you've done to me, all I get is "I'm sorry"?"

"Look, (L/N), I know it's too late to go back. I'm really sorry if we had to go through all this. Will you please give me another chance?" His blank face now looked so fragile that any minute, he could break down. You felt sorry for him, but you were also mad.

"This is a joke, right? You're just going to use me, aren't you? Stop toying me around, Kei! I have no idea what you really feel. It's already confusing for me, so stop it! I don't want to hear your excuses anymore!" The both of you couldn't help but burst into tears. You loved each other truly, and leaving each other was painful enough to be this way.

Tsukishima hugged you tight. "Please, let's go back. Please..."

You tried to get out of his hug, but you can't. All you could do was try to beat his chest with your gentle fists.

"Stop confusing me, Kei! Why did you do this to me? To us?" You kept sobbing.

"(F/N)..."

"But even if I really hate you, I still can't help but think about it. I still believe you're a good person. I know you can still do the right thing! But you were so stupid! A dumbass!"

Tsukishima pulled out of the hug and looked at you with a straight face.

"I love you, (F/N), but just so you know, I don't regret anything."

It was a nightmare. A literal nightmare. Not for you, but for Tsukishima.

It was because it's the other way around.

Tsukishima cried, begging for himself to forget about you.

"Wake up, Kei! She's gone. She'll never come back."
