Kuroo Tetsurō - Flirt (with Science)

"Hey hey hey! If it isn't (N/N)!" Bokuto exclaimed while you approached him during lunch break.

"What's up, Bo? You look more energetic than usual." You remarked.

"He's always like that," Akaashi jokingly murmured.

"Well, I'm going to do a study session with my friend from another school! Wanna come?" Bokuto asked you.

"Are you sure its going to be a study session? With Kuroo-san, you'd both probably just joke around and get nothing done," Akaashi questioned, and took a bite on the onigiri in his hand.

"Don't worry, Akaashi. With me around, they'll be forced to study," you replied, making Bokuto grin widely.

"So it's a yes? Alright!" The grey-haired man cheered. Akaashi looked at you in pity, but you gave him a look, reassuring that everything will be okay.

That's what you thought.

That afternoon, you then went with Bokuto to a coffee shop to meet the friend of his. Once you entered, you immediately noticed a man with bed-hair, one side of his face slightly covered by it. When Bokuto started walking towards his table, you grinned.

"Yo, Bokuto," the guy called out, "you didn't tell me you were bringing your girlfriend?"

You chuckled, noticing that Bokuto became confused because of what he had said.

"You got it wrong. I'm just a classmate." You assured.

"Oh, my mistake," he apologized.

"Ohoho, then I should introduce the both of you then. Kuroo—(L/N). (L/N)—Kuroo." Bokuto introduced.

"Nice to meet you, Kuroo." You gave him a warm smile. Kuroo felt something strange about it, but shrugged it off.

You and Bokuto sat on the opposite side from Kuroo. Before the three of you could start, a little chitchat wouldn't hurt.

"What made you come with Bokuto, (L/N)-san?" Kuroo asked you.

"Oh, I'm basically here to be his guardian—"

"Wha—"

"And to study of course," you added the last part before Bokuto could protest. You heard Kuroo giggle, and you swear it sounded hot.

"So you came with me to make sure I actually study? No fun," Bokuto crossed his arms.

"Oh come on, Bo. That's why we came here, right? With that said, let's start, shall we?" You said and immediately covered Bokuto's mouth before he objects.

For the first 30 minutes, Bokuto gave up and dozed off. You were left with Kuroo, featuring a complete silence between the both of you.

"So, (L/N)," Kuroo started, "what's your favorite subject?"

"Science," you answered even without thinking it through, "and you?"

"That makes it even. I also love Science." He smiled and glanced at you, whose patiently focusing on a textbook.

"(L/N)." Kuroo called and you hummed in response.

"The mitochondria may be the powerhouse of the cell, but you're the powerhouse of my heart."

You suddenly blushed without a warning. You looked at him as he flashed an annoyingly cute smirk. You stayed silent for a while, trying to think of a comeback.

You almost burst out laughing due to your idea, but kept your cool. You dropped your pen and placed your palm on his book, making him stop writing and place his attention to you.

"Hey, are you made of Copper and Tellurium? Because you are Cu-Te," you couldn't help but laugh after stating the pick up line. You swore you saw him blush, but he immediately covered his face.

"Is that pick up line the only thing you've got? That's so cliché," he chuckles.

"Oh, so you want more then? Fine!" You pulled your hand away and relaxed your back on your chair.

"Are you hydrogen? Because you're my number one." You added.

"Are you sure we haven't had a class together before? I could have sworn that we had chemistry together." Kuroo said, making you giggle.

"We're literally from different schools, that's impossible." You remarked, but realization suddenly hit you, and the both of you laughed so hard that it made Bokuto wake up.

"Why? What did I miss?" Bokuto asked as he scratched his eye.

"Oh nothing. You won't exactly get it," you replied while Kuroo snickered.

For the remaining hour, the both of you have been throwing pick up lines at each other. You didn't even notice how quickly time passed by as you flirted with each other. The both of you even left your assignments unfinished and Bokuto's was left untouched.

"Scientists have recently discovered a rare new element called Beautium. It looks like you're made of it."

"I might be into physics, but I can assure you that I will never be a Bohr."

"My favorite element on the periodic table is Uranium because I am in love with U."

"Even if there was no gravity on this planet, I would still fall for you."

"You raise my dopamine levels, (L/N)."

"Well, you seem to be travelling at the speed of light because time always seems to stop when I look at you, Kuroo."

"Fine. You win. That was a good one." Kuroo surrendered, covering his face once again while you were definitely blushing madly.

"Look guys, both of you are cute and all, but I gotta go. My mom suddenly texted me so..." Bokuto interrupted.

"I guess we should all go. It's pretty late." You said as you checked your wristwatch.

"Let's do this again sometime, don't you think?" Kuroo suggested.

"I'll pass. My head hurts because of your scientific terms," Bokuto joked as all of you started to pack your things.

Once you left the coffee shop, Bokuto went the separate way, leaving you and Kuroo alone. As you were waving at your friend, Kuroo tapped your shoulder.

"H-Hey, (L/N), if you go out with me, I promise I won't take you for granite." He showed his smirk once again, and you noticed that he's being serious with his statement.

"I'd love to," you answered and left a peck on his lips. You bid goodbye and walked away, leaving a dumbfounded Kuroo.
