What makes falling in love with Yamaguchi Tadashi in high school the best thing?

There are 12 things:

1. Meeting up in the library and planning for the day.

"Good morning, Tadashi!" You greeted your boyfriend as he enters the library. Waving at you, he finally sat down next to you on your usual place.

"Where's Tsukki?" You asked.

"He said it'd be better if he leaves us here." Yamaguchi smiled.

"I can't believe he's both salty and bitter at the same time." You joked and Yamaguchi obviously loved it. Just like the usual routine, you chat about your plans for the day. Talking about what meal you have, where you're going to sit at lunch, when their practice is over, and so on. Sometimes, the two of you get so deep in the conversation that you didn't realize that you're already planning about the weekend, and you're probably late for class.

2. Working on school works as you sit together.

The mere feeling of accidentally touching each others elbows as you do a project or assignment together makes the both of you feel better. Knowing that he's there beside you, you feel like you can finish your unfinished homework in no time.

Even if silence occurs in between the both of you, it seems like you communicate in the mind. You'd have the urge to laugh or smile, or even feel a little jealous. You just don't know why.

3. Comparing schedules.

"So, when are you free?" Yamaguchi asked as he takes the last bite of his rice ball.

"I have piano classes every weekend," you adjust your chair and pulled it closer to his, "but it's only in the morning. We can hang out in the afternoon. What about you?"

"We also have some extra practice every weekend, but I'll catch up on you."

Tsukishima suddenly leaned closer to Yamaguchi and whispered something. Yamaguchi's eyes widened suddenly.

"Really? You'd do it for us?"

"Yeah, yeah. Just get you jump float serve more accurate next time, or else I won't do this again." Tsukishima looked away.

"You're the best, Tsukki!" You felt like Yamaguchi had the urge to hug Tsukishima, which you thought was cute. Their friendship is really adorable, and you can tell.

"Stop it, Yamaguchi."

"Sorry, Tsukki."

4. Helping each other in studying.

"I kept rereading my textbook and my notes but I still don't get it, Tadashi." You pouted. Yamaguchi gently patted your head.

"It's okay, (F/N)! Come over at my house so I can help you." He flashed a warm smile.

"Really? You'd do that for me?"

"Of course!"

Getting to his house, you spent the night being taught by Yamaguchi. Everytime he would explain a certain problem, you'd grin from ear to ear. Once, he caught you doing it.

"W-Why are you smiling?" He asked shyly.

"I'm just really proud of you, Tadashi! You're both nice, athletic, and smart! Thank you for teaching me!"

"It's no big deal!" He slightly scratched his nape. The next day, you actually got a perfect score in your exam. Showing it to Yamaguchi as you walked home together, he pulled you into a hug and kissed your cheek.

"I'm so proud of you, (F/N)!" He shut his eyes in excitement and shouted. You didn't respond, and he had to look again. Seeing your blushing face, he blushed at the thought of what he had done.

"S-Sorry, (F/N)! I didn't mean to—"

"You don't need to apologize, Tadashi! I really loved it! I feel so motivated!" You replied this time. The both of you were blushing as crazy, and there's no turning back. Your instincts told you to kiss him in the lips. Now.

5. Drinking coffee/tea (wayyy too much).

"Let's run some more, Tadashi!" You suggested to Yamaguchi, who's running out of breath now.

"I can't... I can't keep going anymore... (F/N). I'm too... too tired." He answered. All he wanted to do was lie on the ground.

"H-Hey! Don't die on me, Tadashi!" You helped him get up and immediately found a nearby cafe.

Taking a seat, you asked him, "What do you want?"

"I'll get water first. Then some chamomile tea." He said as he still kept catching his breath.

"Alright! I'll go to the counter now—"

"Wait!" He stopped you by grasping your arm.

"W-What?" You asked.

"P-Please... don't drink coffee again today. I think you drank like... 4 or 5 cups of coffee this morning. Please just... don't." He begged. You knew why. It's all because of you being hyper because of the coffee that's why Yamaguchi couldn't catch up with you.

"Got it. Don't worry, Tadashi."

6. Planning a date somewhere but ending up cuddling in the living room instead.

"H-Hey, (F/N)! Just got out from practice. Shall we go?" He showed up at your front door, soaked in sweat.

"Uh, sure? No wait, take a shower first. You smell." You chuckled to show him that you didn't mind, but he seemed insecure about it.

"I-Is that so? I-I'm sorry..." He apologised and entered your apartment. You felt pretty bad, but you know you can make up for it. You immediately went inside your room and started to dress up for your date today. Looking at your closet, you don't seem to have pretty girl clothes.

"Ugh. Whatever." You told yourself and just took a sweatshirt and pants. Leaving your room, you see Yamaguchi lying in your couch, looking dull and tired. You decided to approach him, worried.

"Are you okay, Tadashi? Do you still wanna go out?" You asked and sat on an empty space on the couch.

"You know what, (F/N)?," he sat properly and hugged his legs, "Screw it. I'm tired, you're tired, let's just watch a random movie and cuddle, shall we?"

After his suggestion, you were amused. This is a new side of Yamaguchi the you have seen, and you love it.

"Good. I was hoping you could watch Attack on Titan with me this weekend. Guess my dream is coming true."

"That's great news. I already forgot the story, except the Titans and Levi tho."
