This isn't our first time around

"I'd like to apply as manager, please!" You handed your club application letter to Takeda-sensei, the head coach of the boy's volleyball club here in your current high school.

"Well, we already have two managers, maybe you can-"

"I'd gladly be an extra hand!" You pleaded.

"A-Alright, sure! We might need two managers again anyway now that the other's graduating, so you'll be fine." He said and approved your application.

Just as you were about to leave, a tall and muscular man was in front of you. As you looked up, he seemed fairly familiar, causing yourp to stare at him unexpectedly.

"U-Uh, miss? Can you let me through?" He said as he scratched his nape.

"A-Ah, of course!" You said and paved the way for him.

"Sensei," the tall student called.

"Ah, I called you here to meet your new manager. Here she is," Takeda-sensei pointed at you.

"U-Uh, nice to meet you! I'm (L/N) (F/N), from Class 2-5. A pleasure to work with you!" You introduced.

"And I'm Sawamura Daichi, 3rd year. I'm the captain of the volleyball club. Nice to meet you too."

"H-Have we met before?" You asked the team captain as he took a little break from practice.

"I think so, but I don't really remember," he replied.

For some reason, you felt really flattered around him. You're a really confident person, but when you're with him, you seem to be really shy. You still haven't realized why that is.

That night, you got really vivid dreams, symbolizing your meeting with Daichi.

"I'm sorry, but you're a woman. Your duty is not in the battle," the king replied. Next to him was a prince, silently falling in love with the woman's persistence.
