Tendou Satori - Champion

"We're finally in the finals!" You cheered as you entered the court along with your teammates. You looked up to see your school's cheer squad rooting for your team. How fortunate of you to be a talented setter from the girl's volleyball club of the famous high school, Shiratorizawa!

Before the game had begun, your captain gave a short inspiring message to keep your fighting spirit burning. It's your last year, and there's no guarantee if you'll finally enter the Nationals, unlike the boy's club. As you were walking towards the court, you felt a soft hand pat you in the back.

"This is now or never, (L/N). Let's do our best before we graduate soon," your captain told you, making your passion for this sport burst.

"Got'cha." You reassured your captain and made way to your position.

Through the first half of the first set, you felt frustrated because of the excessive strength and skill the opposing team had. As your coach called for a time-out, you couldn't help but curse under your breath. Your captain easily noticed it and tried to calm you down.

"It's alright, (L/N)! You know it's completely normal for them to block some of our spikes, so don't worry. Your sets are perfect," she said.

"That's the point! My sets are perfect yet the spiker gets blocked! Curse those bastards for being excellent blockers!" You exclaimed, earning a sigh from some of your teammates.

Once the time-out was finished, a familiar red-haired man appeared on the crowd cheering for your team. Once you saw his presence, you suddenly felt so great that throughout the whole game, you kept making perfect sets. Because of that, you finally got your ticket to the Nationals.

You were leaving the court when you felt your eyes sting because of overwhelming joy. Your dream had come true, and you're about to step into a battle you would never forget about your high school life.

As you passed down a hallway going towards the women's bathroom, you felt a pair of arms cling into one of yours. It was Tendou, the red-haired man earlier who gave you more willpower to keep playing just by seeing him cheer for you.

"Congrats, (Y/N)-chan~!" He congratulated you. You gave him a bright smile, enough to brighten up his gloomy one.

"Congratulations to you too," you replied.

"Huh? What made you think we won?" He gave you a confused look, which made your heart beat faster. Tendou was too cute for you to handle that anytime your nose could bleed.

"You always do!" You answered with a sarcastic tone as you patted his unbelievably fluffy hair. Yes, his spiky hair is actually soft and fluffy.

His face projected a sad smile as he spoke. "We didn't this time."

Hearing this from him made your previously happy heart really sad. Pulling away from his clinging arms, you immediately pulled him into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Tendou." You told him as he hugged you back.

"Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine! In fact, I even made a somg for my precious (Y/N)." He reassured as he faced you and started singing.

"(Y/N)-chan, (Y/N)-chan~
Nani wo?
A-i-shi-te-ruuu~!"

You blushed immediately and felt embarrassed. This guy just made you fall deeper in love.

"Stop it, Tendou!"

"Huh? Don't you like it?"

"I-I do! It's just..." You tried to find the right words to say.

"Hmm?" He hummed.

"You'rejusttoocuteandthesongismakingmeablushingmesssopleasestop!" You said in a really fast pace, making Tendou laugh a lot and it made you much more embarrassed.

"So, wanna go out an eat after meeting later?" He suggested.

"Of course!"

"See you later, my one and only (Y/N)-chan! You're mine and mine only, okay?" He told you as he kept clinging into your arm, his favorite gesture towards you.

"Roger that, my Satori-kun! Just remember that even if you didn't win today, you'll always be the champiom right her in my heart!" You pointed at your chest, gaining a blushing Tendou.

"It feels great to be the winner of your heart."
