Chapter 10 ~ Hanging with the Boys

Laura's Pov

I woke up the next morning and Jack was still asleep. I got up and started to clean up our mess from last night. After that was clean, I made sure the rest of the house was clean. I sat on the couch and there was a knock at the door. I got up and opened it. Only to see Cameron standing there.

I tried to close the door, but he stuck his foot in the way just before I could. "Laura. Can we talk? Please."

"I have nothing to say to you Cameron." "You didn't even let me explain."

"I don't want to hear your explanation. I don't like listening to lies. Now please. Just leave." "I'm not leaving until you let me explain."

"I don't want to hear it Cameron. Please. Just leave." "I'm not giving up this easy."

"Cameron." Then I heard Jack say, "Dude. Get out. She told you multiple times. Now leave. Don't you think you've hurt her enough."

Cam said, "She won't let me explain." "She doesn't have to. Now fucking leave."

Cam sighed but left anyway. I shut the door and locked it. Jack came over and wrapped his arms around me.

"It's okay. He's not gonna hurt you. You're okay." "Why did he do this J?"

"I don't know baby girl." "Will you drive me to Hayden's?"

"Of course." We went out to the car and he drove me to Hayden's. I got out of the car and Jack said, "Call me if you need anything. I love you."

"I love you too bubba." Then he pulled out of the driveway.

I went inside and said, "Fluffy! I need to talk." Hayden came downstairs and said, "What's going on baby girl?"

"I found Cam cheating yesterday. I went to go tell him about the baby. And when I got to his apartment some girl opened the door. And it was obvious they had just had sex. I could tell just by looking at them." "I'm so sorry pumpkin."

"It's not your fault." "Well. Some of the guys are coming over soon. Are you okay with them being here?"

"Yeah. I just want to spend some time with you." "Alright pumpkin. Have you eaten breakfast yet?"

I shook my head. He said, "Alright. How about I make you some breakfast before the guys get here?"

I nodded and we went in the kitchen. I got up on the counter and Hayden started to make me some breakfast. Once it was ready we both sat at the table and ate. Soon the guys were there. They were all super excited to see me since they haven't really seen me since graduation.

I sat on the couch next to Hayden and laid my head on his chest. All of us sat around talking for a little bit and then they wanted to smoke.

"Um. I gotta go guys." Drew said, "What do you mean? You love getting high laura."

"Yeah. But I just uh. Can't anymore." "Why not? It's not like you're pregnant."

"I just gotta go." I walked out of the house and started walking back home.

As soon as I got back to the house I went in and sat on the couch. G came downstairs and said, "I was wondering when I was gonna see you."

"I was at Hayden's." "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. I just had to get out of his house. The guys wanted to smoke and I can't be around that anymore." "I know it's hard baby girl. But it'll all be worth it when you have that little baby."

"I know." He sat next to me and said, "How have you been feeling?"

"Fine. I guess." "Jack told me you threw up earlier this morning."
