Chapter 24 ~ Just Another Day

Laura's Pov

I woke up the next morning and Jack wasn't in bed. But I could hear him downstairs and it sounded like the guys were over. I put on one of Jack's T-shirts and a pair of athletic shorts. I went downstairs and Skate said, "Sleeping beauty is awake. And she's walking funny. Gilinsky fucked her hard."

Jack said, "Actually. She was the dominant one, right up until the end." Sammy said, "How many rounds?"

I shrugged and said, "I lost count." I sat on Jack's lap and kissed him.

JJ came in the front door and said, "What did I miss?" "Something you definitely did not wanna hear."

Skate was about to say something but I shot him a glare. JJ said, "Oh ew. It was about my baby sisters sex life."

"I told you that you didn't wanna hear about it." "And I don't. But I'm gonna go get some rest. I think I only slept an hour last night."

"Oh god. Ew! I told you I didn't wanna hear the details!" "I didn't give any details. You made assumptions."

"I swear. If Sarah texts me and tells me all about the sex, I'm coming for your family jewels and ripping them off." "First, ouch. Second, I told her not to talk about the sex. But I told her she can tell you all about the date if she wants."

"As long as I don't have to hear about my brothers sex life, she can tell me whatever she wants." He went upstairs and I heard his door shut.

"Don't talk about it. I don't wanna hear it. Talk about it when I'm not around." They all nodded.

"When do I get my baby back?" Jack said, "Whenever you want baby girl."

"I wanna go over there now. I'll be back." I slid my birks on and walked down to Haydens. I went inside and he was sitting on the floor playing with Kindall.

"Good morning sunshine." "Good morning."

I sat next to him and picked up Kindall. "Wasn't it worth it to have her over here yesterday?" "Actually yes. I had a great time with jack. And we finally got to have a bunch of sex."

"With protection I hope." "Obviously. I don't have time or the strength for another baby."

"Why not? She's such a good baby." "So she was good last night?"

"Yeah. I told you. She loves her godfather." "I'm sure she'll be coming to you a lot when you get older. And I swear if you ever give her weed, you're a dead man."

"I would never give my god baby weed. Well. At least not without your permission." "Hayden."

"Kidding. Kindall will not be getting anything illegal from me." "Good. That means alcohol too."

"I know." "Also, I think I'm gonna put you in charge of her when me and Jack go on our honeymoon. I know she really loves you. And I wanna give JJ some freedom while we're gone. Because he watches her a lot for me already. So would you mind watching her while I'm on my honeymoon?"

"Of course not. You give her to me after the wedding and I will watch her until y'all are back." "Thank you Hayden. This means a lot."

"Always here to help. Also, you know Brandon's birthday is tomorrow, we were thinking about having a little get together. He's coming home to celebrate with his old friends and Drew told him about Kindall. He really wants to meet her. So I told him I would try to get you to come." "As long as Jack can come too."

"Of course he can. I'll text you all the info. I still have to get it from Drew." "Alright. I think I'm gonna head out and get baby girl back home. Thanks again for watching her last night."

"I'm always down to watch baby girl. It's not like I had a valentine anyway. My only valentine was gonna be Mary Jane. But since I had baby girl with me, she was my valentine. She went to bed early but I just stayed up in my room with her to make sure she was okay." "You're literally such a good god father."

"I want the best for her." I got up and said, "Thank you. It means a lot."

"Anytime." I grabbed Kindall's stuff and went back home.

Skate said, "Laura brought home my baby girl." "Yes I did."

I sat on the couch next to Jack and he took Kindall from me. "Daddy missed his little girl."

"See. You missed her just as much as I did." "Of course I did. I love my baby girl."

Skate said, "G's gone soft. Baby K has taken over his heart." I said, "And what about me?"

"You took over his heart years ago baby doll, Baby K just took over the rest of it." Jack said, "Pretty accurate."

I kissed him and said, "I love you." "I love you too."

At around 4pm JJ finally came downstairs. "Jesus J. You needed to sleep that long?"

"What can I say? Sarah's a freak." "You're gross. I told you I didn't wanna hear about your sex life."

"Sorry not sorry." "Does this mean you and Sarah are gonna be a thing?"

"It's possible." "Great."

"Are you really upset about that?" "Not upset. Just worried. I hate picking sides and if y'all have a messy breakup, I'm gonna have to."

"Stop thinking about the negatives." "Just don't hurt her."

"I won't."
