ELEVEN: A VISIT

LISA

DANI WOKE UP WHEN THE sun is already up. There's no other sounds except Ed Sheeran's voice singing photograph from the speaker in her room with pretty low volume. Dani wasn't always leave her playlist playing the whole night, but last night she forgot to set the timer on. Exhaled, the voice of the british man really makes Dani feel so lazy to even keep her eyes opened. She stayed up all night, editing the new video that will be premiered at 11 am today. Christina told her to do it because in this situation, there's no way telling Lisa to do the edit. And Dani didn't want to create any argument anymore because she knows that the oldest girl is already carrying a lot of things on her shoulder and inside her mind. Dani is simply don't want to put another burden on Christina.

Lisa.

Why does she have to ruin everything? Dani has also witnessed how Lisa treated Lauren badly when they were kid. How can Dani not noticed though? She's practically growing up with Lauren. Lisa was always telling Dani how bad Lauren was and Dani shouldn't be good to her. but thank God, Dani's mind was pretty powerful when she was a kid, so the toxic words didn't really get into her brain. In the mean time, Dani stopped wonder why do Lisa treating Lauren like that, because things just seems like getting better. Even though Lisa became this cold person when Lauren is around, or most of the time just act like Lauren didn't exist. Dani thought everything was fine and fixed, but now she's thinking about it, it was not.

It was never better, it was never fine, and it was never ended.

Last night she heard sounds from Lauren's room, and Dani knew she couldn't do anything about it. it's been days since Lauren really shut everyone out, Dani included. Dani groaned because everything just gave her headache. A bad one. "I really have to talk to Lisa." She mumbled. She took her phone on the nightstand and freaked out when seeing the battery is on 5% and she couldn't find any charger. "Okay I'm dead. No phone today." She said then throw her phone to the bed.

Dani decided to go to Amy's room for borrowing her charger only to find the room empty. She's looking everywhere for her older sister existence, but the result is none. One room she hasn't go to.

Lauren's room.

"Lauren? Can I go in?" Dani knocked on the door. After a minute didn't get any answer, she opened it only to find the room also empty. She sighed. Dani has no idea where are her older sisters go now, but she made her decision to entering Lauren's room anyways. Dani sat on Lauren's bed and look around her. the wall is filled with the polaroids of Lauren herself with a lot of people. She smiled when she found a picture of them in the Sugar and Spice era. Iconic. Dani's green eyes wandering and stopped after they found a notebook on Lauren's nightstand. Being curious as she always is, Dani didn't think Lauren would be mad if she read them. Well yeah, she will never mad at her if she doesn't know, right? And Dani isn't planning to tell Lauren that she read the book anyways.

A lot of words, but the things that Dani's brain highlighting was;

Am I a murderer?

Why did Lisa say I killed someone?

Who is that someone?

I really can't take this.

Should I kill myself to redeem what I did?
