At the Slytherin dungeon/ Draco's POV:

"The best things come unexpectedly"

I'm so excited. I feel like it was fate that brought us together.
But Blaise doesn't think so: "Good luck, Mate. I mean she threatened to throw a hex on you, there's no chance to make her yours if she behaves like this", he said.

"C'mon. You were the person that even suggested me to tell her I love her last summer", I snapped back.

Honesty can be so brutal sometimes. I went back to our dormitory so I could write a message to Hermione.

Dear Granger,
I wanted to ask you when we are going to start our project. I suggest meeting at the library tomorrow after supper. Is that okay?
D.M.

Sometimes, I feel very bad for nor being able to open my heart to anyone. But how am I even supposed to? She would think I'm mental or something else if I told her about my feelings. Plus, I'll have to explain why I wouldn't marry Astoria since father demanded to make this news the front page of the daily prophet. I know that father is in Azkaban, nevertheless, I think he could have a spy hired at Hogwarts. Why does father even care that much about Blood-Purity? Whatever, I'll have to go to sleep now, otherwise, I'll look like I haven't slept at all tomorrow.

At the girl's dormitory/ Hermione's POV
We were already sitting at our dormitory when a message was delivered to me by an owl:

Dear Granger,
I wanted to ask you when we are going to start our project. I suggest meeting at the library tomorrow after supper. Is that okay?
D.M.

"He wants to meet you already tomorrow?", Ginny said. I could tell she was very surprised by Malfoy's message, but I was too.

"Yes, I think so, but what's the matter with that?", I asked. I mean we are only project partners. I fell for him once in between years 1 and 3, but nowadays I'm with Ron. And I'm happy with him. Even though we barely talk with each other anymore. Maybe he's only busy with his job.

"Are you excited about you date with Draco?", Lavender asked.

"It's not a date! We are only project partners-"

I tried to explain, but I was interrupted by Luna: "I don't know how you want to name it, for me it seems like he's interested in you. But isn't he already engaged with Astoria? I read it in the Daily Prophet, although I prefer the Quibbler. Whatever, I'm going to go to the kitchen and ask for some pudding as a pre-midnight snack." Luna went away.

Is he serious? I had a big flashback:

Why would he say that? He's engaged with Astoria Greengrass. There's no way why the girls should consider our work on the project as a date. I mean, I actually wouldn't mind dating him, he seems to be okay. Hermione put yourself together. You.Are.With.Ron.

"Don't break your beautiful brain about him, sweetheart", I hope Ginny couldn't read my thoughts because she looked at me like she could.

"I don't do! Why would you think that!" I hissed back.
