At the Gryffindor common room/ Hermione's POV:

"I'm confused by my own feelings"

As soon as I stepped into the common room, Lavender&Ginny came to me and asked how my "date" was.

"Girls, how often will I have to repeat myself? This was not a date! We only worked on our project. If you doubt this, feel free to ask Madam Pince and the other students in the library", I said and rolled y eyes dramatically. Why are they all so keen on Draco and me dating?

"Whatever, let's play Wizard Chess! I haven't played this in a while", Ginny tried to change the subject. I guess she tried to help me out. Lavender and Ginny started to play and I was organizing some things for S.P.E.W.

Right before they fell asleep
"Hey, Hermione", Ginny whispered.

"What, I'm trying to sleep!", I whispered back, hopefully, I didn't wake up the other two students in our room.

"Is there really nothing you want to tell me?", I think she meant the relationship between me and Draco, but I better don't tell her that we became friends yet.

"Oh yeah. Harry asked me to send you imaginary kisses", I lied.

"C'mon, Mione. I can tell that's not all. But good night", she yawned and fell asleep.
I stayed awake to write Harry a letter.

Hey Harry,

I have to tell you something. Promise you don't tell Ron, I don't want him to misunderstand this situation, you know how jealous he can become.
So, as I already mentioned yesterday, we can work on a project this year. But only under the condition that we work with someone of the opposite gender and of a different house. The problem was that I barely know anyone, so I have to work with Malfoy(we call each other by our first names and we became friends too). I thought that it's going be torture at first, but he's actually a nice guy. A very nice guy. I'm so confused about myself. I mean he was our former enemy. The guy that called me a mudblood, the guy that broke your nose, the guy that sneered about Ron's family, and so on. I really don't know why, but I think I like him. Maybe only a bit. But on the other hand, I still love Ron. And Draco is engaged with Astoria Greengrass. Can you give me some advice on how to handle this situation (I don't want to ask Ginny, because I don't want her to tell it, Ron)

I re-read it and sighed. How can I be confused by myself? I'm considered the brightest witch of our age. I should be clear about my own feelings. Whatever, I addressed the envelope and sent the letter away. Then I fell asleep, dreaming about how every house-elf could be freed and about how I can develop S.P.E.W.
