CHAPTER 11: I'M NOT READY

*SKYLAR'S POV*

I've really been thinking about what Savannah said, I mean summer's almost over and Cameron's family might move so that he can start his acting/dancing career. But what if I give it to him and he doesn't enjoy it, it might ruin our relationship! On the other hand, what if I don't give it to him and he eventually finds someone who will! Either way, I feel like I might lose him. My first love, my soulmate!

I couldn't stop thinking about the situation and I really needed to tell someone who might understand, Peyton. "Yeah, so that's why I'm freaking out!" I said finally breathing. "Okay, slow down!" Peyton said trying to calm me down. I went over to her house early in the morning because I couldn't sleep and she was still in her pajamas. "First of all, it's like 7 am and I look like a retarded bear. Can't this wait till noon, when all the other teens are up!" she said. "Did you hear what said! I'm really stressed Peyton!" I said. "Ugh. Fine. Think about it. You're only in 10th grade. The last thing you wanna do is get pregnant. Condoms break. Contraceptives don't work. STDs exist. So many things could go wrong, I'm pretty sure Cameron has a girlfriend. I mean if he really wanted you to be girlfriend, he would've asked you by now and he hasn't, right?" Peyton lectured, I shook my head answering her question.

I assumed that Cameron and I were dating just because we opened up to each other. He's never told me anything about his love life and neither have I but I don't really have one. If Cameron had a girlfriend, I'd honestly be crushed but I doubt he does. Forget sex, I've got other things to worry about. As for sex, I'm not ready, totally not ready.
