Epilogue

2 years later....

It has been 3 years since I moved to this city and started this job. Last year I got promoted to the manager level and they believed I could be promoted to the VP position soon. I love this company, this job and am completely satisfied with my career path professionally.

To talk about personally, 'The Sankis' are still going strong. Zain finally proposed to Amaira some months after me proposing to Reyan. I was so ecstatic that he did it and Amaira said yes as well. That was the second couple in the group. Soon after, Sanjana started dating someone from her company who was her enemy first as they both competed for the same promotion. That was so cute. Advait is the same playboy, I dont think he is ever going to change. As for Riya, I dont know what she is doing in her life and frankly I dont care. Zain started his photography company also which became a hit very early. Reyan had to again visit the company headquarters for 6 months and that was very difficult for us. Long distance hadnt worked for Reyan before but he was headstrong to make this work. We did break up once but he came down for the weekend to give me a surprise and made up for it. After that we are going strong. We live together and completely trust and understand each other. I love him with my whole heart.

Advait had texted all to meet at this restaurant as he had an announcement to make. We all were confused and didnt have a single hint on what the surprise could be. Reyan and I leave for the restaurant and see that the restaurant was on the waterside. I love their décor. We see Advait and other waiting for us.

"Hello everyone, thank you for coming on such a short notice.." Zain interrupted Advait and said, "Cut to the chase Ad, just say it."

"Okay before Zain had interrupted me, I was saying that I have an announcement to make. You guys know I have been a playboy the whole life.." everyone were rolling their eyes. "..but recently I found someone who changed my ways. I have no idea I could fall in love, moreover get engaged to someone." Everyone squeaked.

"So guys, meet my fiancée Kriti." With that he pointed in a direction and we all saw a silhouette of a girl coming towards us. She was this tall, curvy girl with long brown hair and she was gorgeous.

"Hello everyone, I'm Kriti and by the looks of all your faces, I think Advait hadnt told you guys before about me."

Amaira asked "Can I know when this happened and the whole story?"

"So Kriti worked in our company as an intern and reported mainly to me. I dont think Zain would know her as he is in the other department. She was a mess but very confident girl. I was attracted to how she stood up for herself and didnt fall for my charms. I took it as a challenge to woo her but she made it impossible. We opened up about ourselves and started dating. Within a month of dating I knew I wanted to marry her and yesterday I proposed to her and she said yes. We have known each other since 5 months but feel like a lifetime. I have never been so happy." With that Advait completes his and gives a kiss on Kritis forehead.

Omg, who would think Advait and sappy.

Everyone started hugging and congratulating the couple. I was so happy for Advait. I wanted him to find someone who loves him equally and he did find one.

"I'm so happy for you Adi. I have always prayed for this day to come. Welcome to the family Krits." I hug Kriti and tell her to come to me if Adi does something to hurt her.

Reyan calls me and tells me to come out. I go and he tells me that we are taking the jet ski and go to the artificial island deck nearby. I was confused, there are our friends inside the restaurant celebrating and we are going somewhere but I didnt object. We reach the deck and I see it is decorated with lights and flowers. It is so pretty.

"Reyan what is this? What are we doing here?" I ask and see Reyan on his knees with a ring in his hand.

"Miesha, the first time I saw and talked to you, I knew I had to know all about you and be with you. I am really bad at professing my feelings, but I just want you to know, that I love you and I want to call us official legally. What I am saying is Miesha will you marry me? You are this fresh breathtaking woman who understands and stands with me even during a downfall. You are exceptionally beautiful and you came into my life as an angel. Please accept my proposal and make me the happiest man in the world?"

I was shocked but more happy. I knew this day would come soon but I wasnt expecting such a cute proposal.

"Yes, Reyan Ill marry you. I love you babe."

I take the ring and wear it, it is aquamarine diamond which is my birthstone and it is absolutely beautiful. We hug and kiss. We hear cheering and see our friends coming to us in a jet ski.

Everyone dances, congratulates us and we live happily ever after, I guess, see you then.
