Chapter 24

Tony's POV:

I won't say that I wasn't scared because why won't the person stop hugging me! I mean just because you know that someone is sleeping, doesn't mean you going to keep hugging them, that's so creepy!

I was about to push the person far away from me when the person started talking.

'I know you are not awake and I am glad that you are sleeping because you would have slapped me by now if you were awake.' The person said.

I was about to say something when he continued.

'I know this isn't the right time to say this to you but I missed you and I missed you so much!' The person continued.

If I say that I don't know the voice then I will be clearly lying! I know this voice extremely well.

I was either too overwhelmed or too angry because this is when I pushed him, pushed him really hard that he fell from the bed.

'Stop Lying to me!! You did not miss me! You cannot miss me because you left me.' I screamed.

'I didn't! I came back to you!' The person replied.

'You came back to me? Why? It took you 15 hours to realise that you want to come back to me? Why are you back? You didn't find her isn't it Steve?' I yelled!

'Tony.... that's not why I came back!' Steve said sighing.

'Then why did you come back? Wait! Did you leave something behind?' I asked.

I may sound angry but you know I was crying.

'Yes, Yes I left something behind!' he replied.

'Huh, I knew it! Take it and leave again! Anyway that's what you are good at!' I said chuckling sarcastically.

'Alright! I'll leave again but tell me Tony, are you ready to leave your tower?' he asked smiling now.

'Why would I leave my tower and why on earth are you smiling like that? It's not funny okay?' I said with more tears in my eyes.

'You told me to leave with the thing I left behind, so according to that, if I leave then you have to come with me because its YOU that I left behind!' Steve said smiling.

'But we have an option, if you don't leave your tower then let me stay here with you forever.' Steve continued smiling.

'Stop smiling like that! My heart won't melt with that stupid smile on your face! Listen Steve! I know you're not here and this is all my imagination and now I will wake up and you will not be here smiling like this! I will be alone and I will be missing you so please don't give me these expectations in my dream.' I said.

'What if this wasn't your dream and I was actually here back for you?' He asked amused.

'I would run to you and I would hug you and probably kiss you as well! I might even have said that it was all my fault so please don't leave again but I know it wasn't my fault alone so I would be a bit sassy too but eventually I would say that whatever happens atleast you came back for me and to me and I love you so please don't leave me ever again.' I said smiling.

'It wasn't your fault, it wasn't! It was my fault as well!' Steve said.

'I know you would say that because you aren't Captain America for nothing!' I replied smiling.

'I am here Tony! I came back for you! I want you to come and hug me, kiss me as well and even say I love you so that I can hold you tight and never ever let you go.' Steve said while a single tear dropped from his eyes!

'I guess this is the time when I wake up! I would have been crying and smiling at the same time if you actually said that to me but Steve, you aren't here!' I replied smiling sadly.

'Daaaaaaaaaaaad!' I could hear Peter yelling.

I knew this was all a dream! A dream I would never want to wake up from!

'Daaaaaad!!' Peter yelled again but coming very near to my door.

He knocked once and entered and I noticed that I wasn't actually lying down but standing.

'Steve tell me you apologized!' Peter asked.

'I tried but Tony feels I am his imagination!' Steve replied chuckling.

That's when I realised that No! I wasn't dreaming and Steve was actually here standing straight infront of me and he was smiling looking at my shocked face!

I ran to him and he out of reflex or habit caught my waist.

I guess he was expecting a hug and a kiss according to my confession but the thing I did next made Peter laugh badly and me too till a certain extent.

I don't know if you guessed it but I slapped him! SHIT! I slapped Steve! But hey! He deserved it! I was hurt okay? And no! I did not slap him that bad too!

'Gosh! I thought I would witness a kiss between you two but how can I forget that you guys are hardly cliché!' Peter said between laughs!!

'I wasn't wrong when I said if you were awake you would slap me but I am older to you Tony!!' Steve said whining.

'I don't care! You deserved it! If you actually thought that you are going to come back then why the hell did you make me wait for 15 freaking hours?' I said screaming.

'Someone is losing patience, so I'll just leave.' Pete said and before we could reply he left.

'Tony!! I left this tower and I could only go 5kms because I felt so guilty and I was so in love with you that I had to come back but I had to fix a few things too! I am so sorry babe that I made you cry for 15 hours!! But I am here! And I know you slapped me but I love you and I actually love you too much! So, if you want you can literally slap me again but please, Please come back to me.' Steve said pleading.

And there went my anger and yelling and screaming. How could I still be angry with him when I even said that if he comes back I will take the whole blame! I stared at his face for few seconds because after that I knew that I hugged him real tight without any intention of leaving him any time soon.

But you know its me! Tony Stark! He is not getting my forgiveness this soon! Time to be a drama queen again!

I did hug him real tight but I mentally smirked. I love you Steve but 15 hours was really long so you deserve a bit of punishment.

I really don't know how this was!! I mean I really had a different plot in mind but you guys were so sad and Tony was too!! So, I changed my mind!!😌🙈

I kinda suck at romantic stuff but I tried my best?🙈 Sorry if you are disappointed with this part!🙈😪

Also! Guys!! It's official!! This ff will end with Chapter 30!!😪😭

I am going to miss you guys so much like I am already so emotional!!😪
