Dining Room!

Bucky's POV

I rushed upstairs because I know whatever would have happened if I stayed back a second more. But I was quite sure that today something would definitely happen because Tony would never stay quite after what he thought happened.

As I entered the room I saw Nat munching on a peanut butter sandwich. Well, she seemed quite engrossed in her laptop so maybe she is busy. I saw the perfect red locks of hair falling on her face which kind of made her look elegant but then watching someone secretly is really not nice so I just thought of leaving when what I wished for happened.

'Hey! Bucky?' Nat asked.

'Oh! Hey! Umm, I just thought that maybe, you know! You were busy!' I replied.

'Well yeah! Completely busy with my peanut butter sandwich and just some you know unnecessary mails from a raccoon!' Nat said smiling.

'Well, if you are not that busy, I have some tea, you know!' I said grinning.

'Oh c'mon! Spill it out!' She replied smirking.

'Well, I was kind of with Steve, while he was really upset about Strange and drama queen but then just to make him feel better I kissed him on his forehead and Tony saw it.' I said without any expression.

'He saw that? Oh! This was perfect as the plan! I am so proud of you Bucky! Thank you so much for doing that for me, umm I mean for Steve and Tony' I heard her reply.

She said 'Me', didn't she? But maybe, that just happened by mistake? She probably loves Banner. I definitely shouldn't think of something which will cause her a problem. It is probably true, that I really like Nat but I really cannot do something about it because I couldn't hurt someone else just because I love..umm like her.

'Umm Nat! If you don't mind me asking.' I asked.

'Absolutely not! What is it?' she asked with an expression which looked somewhat like concern.

'Are you dating Banner?' I finally asked her, I couldn't stop myself.

I looked at her concern change into shock and then suddenly she bursted out laughing. Laughing really loud.

'Are you kidding me? I mean yes! I love Bruce but no we are not dating. I love him like a person loves a person when you know only that single person can control your emotions and fear! He was there for me when I thought I couldn't cope up with the world because of the emotions I hold and weirdly I was there for him when he had a fear of losing everything and more than that, losing himself. We are more of two sides of a rubber band, you pull out his fear, you will face me and you pull out my emotions and you will face him.' She said smiling.

'Oh! I thought maybe you know!' I said.

'Absolutely not! Plus he has this crush on Thor, which he, himself has no idea about yet!' she replied.

'Oh! That's really adorable, they would look great together. They have the perfect height difference too.' I replied smiling.

That's when we both saw Strange entering the room.

'I figured out quite a good thing and I think if everything goes well, Peter will be back here within a week!' Strange said.

'I think we should call Tony!' Nat suggested.

'Yeah, he would be really happy and even Steve too.' I said.

'Did I hear my name?' Steve said as he walked up towards us with an apple in his hand.
