Seven- Sirius

It's been two weeks since the ball and today we play at the three broomsticks

"Tonight I will get Lily to be my girlfriend" states James as we walk down to breakfast "you still haven't got her yet?" I ask, he shakes his head "thanks for the reminder, Padfoot" says James and I just smirk.

As we enter the great hall James makes sure to pick a seat near lily "morning, Evans" says James with a smirk on his face "morning, Potter" replies Lil, rolling her eyes "still coming to the broomsticks tonight to see us play?" Asks James, Lily nods "wouldn't miss it" replies Lily, this causes James' smirk to grow ever wider.

As James is preoccupied with Lily I take this as an opportunity to place my hand on Remus' thigh and give it a small squeeze, he places his hand on mine and smirks at me.

The day goes on and soon enough we have to get ready to go to the three broomsticks. When we get there we set up the instruments and get ready for everyone to pile in.

We see the sign inside that's the same out saying "playing tonight: The Marauders" that's the name James chose for us, he sort of started the whole thing but I'm glad he did because it's brought us closer as a group.

"Right Good Evening everyone" says the bar tender who's name for the life of me I can't remember "tonight we have the Marauders playing so sit back, relax and enjoy the show!" Continues the bar tender.

We start with 'somebody to love' by queen and James gets ready to sing. I spot lily in the crowd, she looks as though she doesn't know what to expect and I smile knowing that she's gonna be blown away

"Can...anybody, find me somebody to love" starts James and instantly I look over at lily who's jaw is agape and I smirk knowing he's won her over.

We perform a few more songs before our time slot is up "thank you. Can we give a big round of applause for the Marauders" says the bar tender. We pack up our stuff and get off the stage, ready for whatever band is playing next or whatever.

"How did you find that, Evans?" Asks James as soon as we find Lily "didn't expect you to actually be able to sing, Potter, you surprise me" replies Lily, James giggles and sighs "well, Evans I do like to be full of surprises" says James

"Which is why I have something planned for you" says James. He shoos us away but we're gonna follow him anyway. We stay a few metres behind as James takes Lily back to the hogwarts grounds and over to a patch of grass that he's made perfect for the occasion

I look around and there are roses, rose petals and candles. Rose petals are scattered in the shape of a heart and so are the candles, illuminating the rose petals. In the middle of the heart is a bouquet of roses.

"What's all this, Potter?" I hear lily ask, James smirks and stands in the middle of the heart, holding the bouquet out to her "Roses are red, violets are blue, I've never felt this way about anyone the way I feel about you. On darkest days and starry nights you make me feel the highest of heights. Your deep green eyes and bright smile your fiery hair and all the whole, I think of you from dusk till dawn and yet still there's nothing going on. Lily Evans, will you be my girlfriend?" Asks James, the poem he recites was romantic for a while and then I think he just ran out of things to say that rhymed but good on him for trying

We wait anxiously for Lily's reply, knowing that if she says know it will break James' heart, he's been waiting for this for years and he put so much effort into this that it would break him for her not to feel the same "James Potter you absolute mong! Of course I'll be your girlfriend" replies Lily, James dips her and kisses her, while he's not looking I take the opportunity to turn to Remus and wrap my arms around his neck, placing my lips on his

"Wow ok, that was a surprise" says Remus when we pull away, I smirk "well, no one was looking" I reply, Remus smiles, looking down at me, he nibbles on my ear and kisses my neck softly "Remus, careful" I warn he smirks and puts his hands under my shirt, feeling up and down my back, I arch my back and kiss him again.

I look back over and see Lily and James finished with their make out session. So Remus and I decide to make our way to dinner. We sit in the great hall next to each other, James and lily joining us shortly after, sitting opposite us "ah see you finally can tolerate Prongs, Lily" says Remus, lily smiles looking up at James "well, I couldn't resist his annoying ass any longer but he is pretty charming" replies Lily, Remus smiles and gives my thigh a subtle squeeze

"Well thank god for all this" I say "James has been swooning over you since first year, only taken you what? Five years to get her, Prongs" I tease, James glares at me like he wants to punch me but his expression quickly changes as lily kisses him smack bang on the lips "that's absolutely adorable, Potter. I should've agreed to your persistence earlier" says Lily. James expression softened into a smile that says 'nice one, Padfoot'

I settle for a smug smirk as I hold Remus' hand under the table "well, boys, another brilliant performance by the Marauders" says James "why do you call yourselves that?" Asks Lily, I don't think James is about to tell her about the map so he just shrugs "sounds cool" replies James. Swift one, Prongs.
