I read Sirius' letter and my heart drops, I wont be seeing him again for a long while

so i write a response that reads:

My dearest Padfoot,

I'm sure that not a day will go by where you aren't in my thoughts, I will love you till the very end and we will see each other again. This is not goodbye, this is farewell, see you soon, aufwiedersehen as the Germans would say. All I want is for you to be safe and one day we can be together again. Don't worry, I'll look after your godson in your absence and give you regular updates although I have quit my teaching job as Snape has let it slip I'm a werewolf and parents wont like that. You will forever be in my thoughts, see you soon my love. I love you

I smile as I seal the letter and address it to Padfoot then send the letter by owl.

I'm going to miss him

TIME SKIP TO ORDER OF THE PHOENIX TIME

Sirius is back with us in hiding at his childhood home of Number Twelve Grimmuald Place, not that it's very childhood friendly but I know he made it as homelike as he could for himself and now he's made it headquarters for The Order of The Phoenix as we have found it prudent to reassemble, despite having lost half our crew in the last war

The downside for Sirius is that he has to stay inside all the time whilst everyone else is off doing missions or whatever because he's one of the most wanted people in the world, wizarding and muggle combined.

Today, all the other members of the Order are out of the house, it's just me and Sirius. Kreacher is here as well but he pays no attention to us anyway.

"I hate being stuck in this fucking house" groans Sirius, I walk over to him, take hos copy of The Daily Prophet out of his hands and place myself on his lap, locking our lips "I know, baby, I know, but there are perks to having the house to ourselves" I say as I begin to kiss down his neck, he seems to find this rather comforting and relaxing as he runs his fingers through my hair.

Despite my appalling attire, Sirius has never given up on me, never stopped loving me. This surprises me because whilst I'm shabby and poor he's well groomed and rather wealthy but i guess it's down to whoever had the odds in their favor

We're standing now, Sirius up against the wall with his legs wrapped around my waist as he kisses down my neck.

"Hello? Dumbledore? I- Oh" we stop and look over to see the last person we'd ever want catching us. Severus Snape. Fuck's sake.

"I- um- I was just- I knew it! I knew you two were together" says Snape, hatred in his voice, Sirius drops from my waist to the floor and sneers at him "so what if we are?" Asks Sirius getting rather defensive of the whole ordeal.

"well I was here to give Dumbledore some news I didn't know whether he was still at Hogwarts what with Delores Umbridge there as well, she'll be curious enough to know where I've been now I must go, you two...keep being...freaks" replies Snape

"No one asked for your life story, Snivellous" sneers Sirius, I put my hand on his to calm him down "oh do grow up" says Snape, rolling his eyes "I thought perhaps you would've put the past behind you like you told Dumbledore you would. Lupin has, follow his example. What you and Lupin do in your spare time is between you two now if you don't mind I have important business to attend to" continues Severus

"Severus, while I appreciate your efforts with the wolfsbane potion I would appreciate it if you didn't call us freaks and take digs at Sirius not being able to leave the house, it's not his fault that he's been wrongly convicted of murder" I say sternly, Snape says nothing, he merely scowls at us both before turning swiftly on his heel and leaving, cloak billowing behind him as he did so.

"that was kinda hot" says Sirius, i smirk "oh yeah?" i ask, Sirius nods, kissing me "yeah it was, Professor" replies Sirius, smirking "Sirius" i warn, he grows more smug "what? Don't you like it when I call you Professor?" Asks Sirius, kissing my neck I chuckle "you know I do" I reply, he smiles on my skin "good because I like making you blush" says Sirius, removing my shirt.

Later on at Dinner we're only joined by a few of the Order, those being Molly Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks and Arthur Weasley, all of which had just got back from their missions

"I expect the lot of you are tired" I state, they all nod, slumped in their chairs "I just have to keep reminding myself this is for my children's future, for a better world" says Molly

"that's a good motive. I'd use that, mainly just the better world part considering I don't have children" I reply, Molly nods "Have you got anyone special, Remus? A handsome man like you should surely be hitched up with a baby on the way by now" Asks Molly, my eyes flit over to Sirius who shoots me a look that says 'don't tell them about us'

so i merely chuckle and shake my head "Unfortunately, Molly, I'm going to have to disappoint you, I'm still single. But I do thank you for calling me handsome" I reply, Molly smiles and Tonks perks up when I mention I'm single which is a lie, I'm in a relationship with Sirius but he fears certain members wont take that well, I disagree but at the end of the day I'm in love and I don't care who knows really.
