TwentyThree- Sirius

i find Peter in a street full of muggles and wizards alike.

"PETER PETTIGREW YOU MURDERER!" i scream at him, he seemed fearful yet scary all the same

"HOW COULD YOU? HOW DARE YOU! EXPLAIN OR SO HELP ME I WILL KILL YOU BEFORE VOLDEMORT CAN GET HIS HANDS ON YOU" i continue to scream until he pushes me up against a shop wall, his wand at my neck

"DONT speak the dark lords name" says Peter shakily "I'll say whatever i fucking want!" i exclaim, rage coursing through me, growing stronger with every passing moment "I could kill you" says Peter

"i fucking dare you, go on, you'll be sent to azkaban for three murders then won't you?" i ask, Peter frowns for a moment

"there have been three murders, James, Lily and the boy" states Peter, i grin sinisterly "seems as though he only got James and Lily, Harry's still alive" i reply "no! no no no! the dark lord, he's gone, finished" says Peter

"looks like you'll have time to reflect on that in azkaban" i spit at him, he chuckles and shakes his head "Sirius, i thought you were smart, seems i thought wrong" says Peter, a twisted smile on his face but before i can question him there's a bang

a crack in the street, Peter is gone, a finger on the floor, several dead bodies, screams

"MURDERER!" someone screams pointing at me. i didn't do it. i didn't do it.

i disapparate, i need to tell Remus.

"Sirius!" exclaims Remus as i turn up at the doorstep "i haven't got much time, the ministry'll be after me and it wont take them long to find me" i state, he looks shocked "i didn't kill anyone" i warn before telling him my story

"Pettigrew, i found him, shouted at him asking why he betrayed them, he cornered me, threatened to kill me first, he says voldemort's finished because Harry lived on. I wanted to ask more but there was a bang and he was gone, created a mass murder and left all but his finger to make sure it looked like i killed him" i say hurriedly

"they can't take you away i wont let them" says Remus, i shake my head "i can't stay they might arrest you too and you don't deserve azkaban, too kind, too loving, too gentle for azkaban. Remus i came to tell you the truth, to tell you i love you, you'll be my incentive to stay alive in that place. I love you Remus Lupin, with all my heart, don't forget me ok? I'll see you soon i promise" i say, he gives me a look of disdain but i cup his face in my hands and kiss him long and hard

"i love you too, Sirius" says Remus, i kiss him one more time just to imprint the memory in my mind, so i never forget his face, his lips, him.

"i must go to keep you safe, i've lost two friends in one night i needn't loose you too. I'll find a way out of this. I love you" i say, brushing my thumb over his cheek as i take in his features "maybe i can help" protests Remus "there were several witnesses there they all thought i was the one that murdered the people and Peter, there's nothing you can do to prove me innocent" i reply, brushing a stray tear away from his cheek

"i'm gonna miss you" says Remus, my heart breaks "i'm gonna miss you too" i reply and i kiss him one last time for luck "i love you" i say, those being the last words i want him to hear me say "i love you too" replies Remus

i walk out the door, making sure to be away from Remus so as to keep him out of this, i had to let him know i'm innocent, i can't bare the thought of him losing faith in me. I will get out of this.

once i'm a while away from the house i decide that Remus is safe and my heart rate calms slightly, only for it to speed back up again as two hands close around each side of me

"get off of me!" i demand, struggling against the restraints "Sirius Black you are under arrest for the conviction of being a death eater, the one in which caused the deaths of Lily and James Potter, you are also under arrest for the murder of Peter Pettigrew and 12 other people, a mixture of muggles and Wizards, this henceforth has led you to a life long sentence in Azkaban effective immediately" says one of the men restraining me. Ministry Officials

"i didn't do it!" i exclaim but thats no use "what do you mean effective immediately?" i ask

"the dementors will escort you to Azkaban once we get to the ministry and that is when your sentence begins" replies the man "i don't even get a trial?" I ask, the man scoffs "you? a trial? I should think not, too much evidence against you, several eyewitnesses, the destruction of the place and the finger left of Pettigrew, so no, Mr Black, you will not be getting a trial" replies the man. My heart sank. No trial. Straight to Azkaban.

"Get off of him! He's innocent!" i hear an all too familiar voice exclaim "Remus" i warn "Shut up you" says the man, shoving me in the side "stop!" exclaims Remus, i shake my head vigorously "Remus leave it" i warn which earns me another shove in the side but before Remus can protest anymore we disapparate to just outside the Ministry.

"we have him" says the man as he takes me into the ministry, Cornelius Fudge gives me a look of disgust before turning to the man "jolly good send him off then" says Fudge, i see two dementors coming in my direction and suddenly everything feels cold and hopeless, this is my fate.
