Addicted

Chapter 3

Bella P.O.V

"Bella, go, go!" Alice persuades me, hitting me with her elbow.

Holy shit, should I go? What about my brother's? This guys is attractive as hell and he's gesturing me to come over where he is. His grin is just so enchanting, so captivating that makes me bite my lip.

Rosalie takes Ava out of my arms and pushes me to my feet. I finally give up with a sigh, hoping my brother's don't notice me leaving. I fix my hair a little, God, I should have worn better clothes. I'm just wearing shorts with a white shirt and my hair up in a ponytail.

I walk taking deep breaths, walking to him. God, I'm so nervous, I'd have a crush on this guy since I moved in.

He lays up against his silver Volvo, a leg bent against it, his hair falling free. He could be model.

"Hi," I choke out.

"Hello," he grins at me. Oh, please stop grinning at me! It just distracts me so much!

"What's up?" I put my hair behind my ear, uncomfortable. What does he want me for?

"Well, I did try talking to you this morning but you ran off," he just won't stop grinning, "so I guessed as the first try didn't work, I'll try now."

Oh.

"So, you bumped into me on purpose?" I frown.

He nods, "I've seen you every day ever since you moved in-not that I'm stalking you, because I'm not but-" he leans forward just about where I can smell his fresh, ment breath "-it's hard not to notice your front neighbor is supper hot."

Damn, tell me about it. I've notice you since I came here and always wondered how would those pink full lips would taste like.

I blush at my own thought and bite my lip. I can't be thinking about him like that! Though, it's not hard.

"Do you... Want to come over for some BBQ?" I asked not being able to take my eyes off his kissable lips. He grins once again.

"I'm invited?"

I slowly nod.

"Why not? I am a little hungry."

He's coming, damn, I was hoping he said no. Well, I can't back out now so, now what? We walk towards my house where Emmett and Jasper are finishing with the BBQ and the girls are putting on the table. Alice immediately grins and taps Rosalie's elbow when they see us walking back.

"Hello," Rosalie grins.

"Hey," Edward says back.

"Um, guys," I call everyone's attention. They all look at me, "this is Edward, my front neighbor. Edward, thses are my brother's Emmett and Jasper. My best friend Alice, who is married to Jasper; Rosalie, my best friend also married to my brother Emmett and that little adorable thing," I point to Ava, "is their daughter."

"Nice to meet you," they say.

"Nice to meet you, too," Edward grins at them. That grin is so cute as well as those eyes...

"I hope you're hungry," Rosalie says, "my husband cooks so bomb ass BBQ."

"Thank you."

We all sit on the table and start serving ourselves. The BBQ is so good, my brother's do know how to cook. Edward sits next to me, which makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel like my stomach and throat are in a naught, my hands are sweaty and my heart is pounding so hard. Suddenly, I feel his leg against mine, making me open my eyes widely. The fuck...?

"So, how did both of her best friends manage to marry both her brother's?" Edward asked as we ate, he's leg still against mine.

"Tell me about it," I chuckled.

"Well, we started dating each other like three months after Bella introduced them to us at a house party she wasn't allowed to attend," Jasper said.

"Our sister is everything, you know?" Emmett laughed. "She may be cute, nice and intelligent but she sure doesn't know how to follow the rules."

I laughed. "I'm not that bad."

"Yeah, right," Alice laughed. "You sneaked out of your room every Saturday night to go to house parties even after Jasper and Emmett said no."

"Plus," Rosalie added, "you knocked on the door when you were back. Drunk."

Edward chuckled and slightly rubs his leg against mine making my muscles tense. I clear my throat and take a sip of my soda with my shaking hands.

"So, tells us about you, Edward? Do you work?" Rosalie asked while she feed Ava.

"I'm a mechanic," he says, "I work at a shop my uncle left me when he died. Make  enough money for my living."

"You are handsome, no offense." Alice winks an eye at me, "Do you have a girlfriend?"

Edward smiled before taking a sip of his drink and shakes his head. "No, I don't have a girlfriend."

Thank God.

I give Alice a look that said, "don't ask anymore questions," just in case. Alice is way to curious.

"What about your family?" Rosalie asked.

His smile suddenly disappeared. "I don't have contact with my parents since last year."

Oh.

I look at him, frowning. He looks at me and slightly grins. I wonder why doesn't he have contact with his parents, I mean, he's lucky he has his parents, mine are dead. 

"Do you have any siblings?" Emmett asked.

His body tensed again, his hand that's under the table turned into a fist. A really tight one.

"No, I don't."

A phone starts to ring, I know it's not mine because I have Crazy In Love as my ringtone. Everyone else checks their phone and it ends up being Edward's.

"Hello," he answered. "... No,... Alright... Right now?... Alright... Tell them that was their choice... I don't want anything... Fine, I'll be there in five minutes." He hanged up and gets up. "Thank you for the BBQ, it was delicious. I'm sorry, but I have things to do."

"Alright," we say.

"I'll see you around, Bella," he winks an eye at me. "Nice to meet you," he tells my family and leaves.

I wonder who called him and why did he leave all the sudden. Mostly, why the sudden mood change?
