"You are crazy" I say and drop the pillow on the bed.
"I am! Crazy for you Nikki" Alec says and I furrow my eyebrows
"Okay stop this and lemme go take my shower! Remember I need to get to school early" I say quickly to forget what he just said.
"Since when?" He says and pulls me back
"Since the agreement" I reply.
He chuckles and I wriggle out of his grasp.
I walk straight for the bathroom.
"Can I join you?" Alec hollers.
"What? You mean in the shower?" I ask surprised
"Yes" he hollers back.
"No! Don't even dare step foot in here or else I'll......" I trail off thinking of something to threaten him
"You'll?" He urges.
"1. I'll put soap in your eyes or
2. I'll call the police to come and arrest you for raping me" I say proud of my comeback. He wouldn't step in here with that!
I hear him laugh wildly in the room
"Oh my God Nikki! Hahaha" he says.
"Okay, I wouldn't come in there! But you better hurry up you slow poke" he says and after that the place was silent.
I hurried up and got dressed in the bathroom. I wore blue jeans, a black tank top and white sneakers. Then I combed my hair and held it in a ponytail. I did some light make up and left the bathroom.
"Someone looks gorgeous" Alec compliments and I roll my eyes.
He walks up to me.
"You look stunning babe" he says more softly and my stomach does a double flip again
"I'm not your babe" I point out and he chuckles.
"You are Nikki! Have you forgotten you are my girlfriend?" Alec says loudly and I look at him wide eyed.
"You don't have to say that so loud! Anyone can hear" I chide but it was too late. Aaron was at the doorway. The door was opened ajar with Aaron's mouth flung open
"Girlfriend?" He asks and I swallow hard. Alec ruffles his hair. Its all his fault!
"Oh hey Aaron! Good morning" I say sweetly but nervously.
He doesn't respond. He's still shocked with what he just heard and is still processing the news in his brain.
"Aaron ummm.....I can explain" Alec speaks up.
"OK so you two are a couple? Since when?" Aaron blurts and I shush him closing the door so that no one else would hear us.
"Its not that Aaron please! I'll explain it to you" I plead.
"There's no need for you to explain! I get it! You'll just feed me with lies even though you guys are together! I should have known this! The writings were on the wall" Aaron says with hurt evident in his voice.
I look at him dumbfounded
He smiles a bit but it doesn't reach his eyes.
"You always win Alec! Girls love you! You took the woman of my dreams from me! Congrats" he spits and I swallow hard. Alec looks confused and ashamed in a way.
Aaron's green irises are darker now and he has his fists balled at his sides. I could see the hurt in his eyes mixed with rage?
"But I tell you! I would fight for Nikki's love no matter what! Even if I have to kill you" He says and my heart jumps into my throat.
"Hurry up! The others are waiting" he concludes and leaves the room upset.
I can't believe what I just heard. Aaron liked me? Oh my gosh!
Alec sighs and rubs his temple.
"I honestly didn't know he liked you" he spoke up.
I looked at him.
"If you hadn't blurted the whole girlfriend thing, I wouldn't be in this mess right now!" I yell at him.
