Your POV
Mr. Poe had taken us to get changed out of our ashy pinstripe suits and into something more suitable.
I stuck the dragonfly pin on the center of the collar for decoration and had my locket stick out.
Once we got back into Poe's car, the drive seemed to last forever. What was even more annoying was that Mr. Poe's nonstop blabbering and coughing made it last longer.
"I must say children, this car trip has been interminably long," Mr. Poe commented. "Who knew the Hinterlands were so far away?"
"That's why they're called Hinterlands," Klaus commented glumly.
"Nobody likes a backseat driver, Klaus. Be sure to tell me when that turn is coming up," Mr. Poe said as he had just passed a sign that clearly said: Turn coming up
"Missed it" Sunny babbled as she looked back from the window. Sunny was big enough to sit in her own seat now, which left me in the front with Mr. Poe, which I was upset about for two reasons: One, I had to deal with Mr. Poe's obnoxious coughing next to me. Two, I wasn't sitting next to Klaus anymore, which I was sad about because of my strong feeling for him that I had only told Isadora and Kirsten about.
