"I can't believe ikaw ang secret admirer ko. For real?" I ask Troy for the nth time

He chuckled "Oo nga"

"Bakit ako?" Naguguluhan kong tanong

He shyly look away. "I just really like you" he stated while blushing. He's so cute

I lightly pinch his cheeks "You're adorable" I commented making him blush more.

"Paige don't tease me-"

"Keep your distance from her Obrien or my fist will say hello to your face" banta ni Zach. I can feel his deadly aura on my back and aaminin ko. It's scary.

Hindi natinag si Troy and wore a smirk on his face. "You see Paige. He is one of the reasons why I decided not to court you and lie low. He threatened me" he said while glancing at Zach "Wala namang kayo pero binabakuran mo" Troy continued while looking at Zach and laugh

Ouch! Tinamaan ako dun.

"I'm warning you Obrien" Zach said in a deadly voice before grabbing my wrist and pulled me away.

Dinala niya ako sa may forest ng school at galit na tumingin sakin.

"Don't talk to him Paige." Seryoso niyang sabi

"And why? I like him-"

"No you don't! And you don't even know him" he yelled

"So what? Atleast nage-effort siya. He cherish me" naiiyak ko ng sabi

His face softed. He cupped my face and made me look straight to his eyes. I can see longingness, sadness, care and... love?

"Isn't all my efforts not enough Paige?" He ask

Kumunut ang nuo ko "What?" I ask, confuse

He let go of his hand and look away. "Don't mind it Paige" maikli niyang sabi tsaka umalis. Leaving me behind

Lutang akong pumasok sa classroom. What does he mean? May hindi ba ako alam?

"Hey! Earth to Paige" i jolted a little and glared at him. "Don't do that again Rim. I swear sisipain talaga kita" banta ko sa kanya

Tumawa lang siya at tumabi sakin ng upo. "Lumilitaw kasi ang utak mo. Ano ba kasing iniisip mo. Si Zach na naman ba? I'm offended Paige" pag-iinarte niya at hinilot pa ang parte kung nasaan ang puso niya.

Pinakita ko sa kanya ang kamao ko "Eto, gusto mo?"

He chuckled and raise both his hands "Okay,okay. Chill Paige. Meron ka ba? Geez"

I frustratedly grunted. Isa pa tong epal.

Sinondot-sundot niya ang pisnge ko. "Sabihin mo na kasi Paige. Huwag kang others. Ako lang to! Si Natoy na mahal na mahal ka" he laugh

Hindi ko na talaga napigilan at binato ko siya ng eraser na mabilis niya namang nailagan. "Kailan ka pa naging Natoy. Tumahimik ka nga. Lalo akong nabu-bwesit sayo"

He just laugh. Rim has always been a good friend of mine sa loob ng ilang buwan. And i can say na siya lang ang nagiging malapit kong kaibigan aside from Zera. And for his feelings for me? I casually rejected him. He accepted the fact na si Zach talaga ang gusto ko pero he ask me one favor. And that's not to stop him from showing his feelings for me. Hindi ko alam na martyr rin pala siya.

"Rim" tawag ko sa atensyon niya

"Hmm?"

"May kilala ka bang Troy?"

"Troy?" Naguguluhan niyang tanong

"Troy Obrien" sabi ko

A flash of shock run through his face. So he knows something. He's a gang leader after all so no doubt he knows. Maybe?

He laugh awkwardly "Diba classmate natin yan"

My eyebrows furrowed. Now something is fishy. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "Spill it Troy" sabi ko

His eyes roamed around not meeting my gaze habang sumisipol. Fine! Kung ayaw niya edi huwag!

Zach's POV

"Move" ma-awtoridad kong sabi. Nakaharang kasi siya sa pinto ng kotse.

"You didn't tell Paige?" He ask

"About him? No. Kaya ko naman siyang protektahan. Now move Rim" inis kong sabi

He 'tsk' and move away. I open the door and he move on the passenger seat.

Nagpupuyos na ako sa galit. "You're not welcome in my car"

He chuckled "Chill Zach. I don't care if I'm welcome or not. Gusto ko rin protektahan si Paige not that I'm underestimating you but because I care for her. That dude is crazy." Seryoso niyang sabi

Napa-isip ako tsaka isinama siya sa bahay namin. Binati kaagad ako ng kapatid ko.

"Hi Kuya. Good Evening" malambing na bati ni Kianna and kiss my cheeks

"Evening" sagot ko

Dumating si Zera tsaka binati ako. Kumaway lang siya not even throwing a glance. Tsk

"Oh kuya andiyan ka na pala" walang pakialam nitong sabi at dumiritso sa second floor. Brat talaga. Mana sa brat ko.

I smile at the thought of labelling Paige as mine. There's no escape. Right from the start, hindi ko na dapat pang-pinigilan ang feelings ko sa kanya. I was lost when she told me she also likes me.

I was awakened in my reverie when Rim lightly kick me. I glared at him

"Ano?" Inis kong tanong

"Ang hot ng mga kapatid mo" komento niya habang nakangisi.

"Do you wanna die Dizon? No one lays a hand on my sisters. Even a glance" banta ko and grab his collar

Itinaas niya ang dalawa niyang kamay. "Tsk! Pikon talaga. Sa'yo na nga si Paige ang love of my life ko tapos ipagkakait mo pa sa'kin ang tumingin man lang sa mga kapatid mo"

"Ayaw kong binabastos ang mga kapatid ko"

His face softened and smiled... genuinely. "Sorry" maikli nitong sabi

I loosend my grip and let go of him.

"Halika. I'll let you meet my team. I want that Obrien gone"

Napansin ko lang guys baka 30+ tong chapter na'to coz i realize na chap 25 na pala ako pero ang dami ko pang gustong idagdag lmao. But welp there are still 5 more chaps🤷🏻‍♀️
