Flashback

It's been 3 days since I am hospitalised. As usual, kami lang ni Zach ang naiwan sa loob. I don't know why pero the atmosphere is light. No awkwardness and everything.

Pinapanood ko lang siya na busy sa pag-peel ng apple. I told him kasi na I wanna eat one.

Inabot niya sakin to "Here Paige. Tell me if you need something" sabi niya at ngumiti

I smiled at him "Yeah I need you to rest"

"No need. I wanna take care of you hanggang sa ma-discharge ka" seryoso nitong sabi

Hindi ko maiwasang umasa. For the past three days, nagiging sweet ito sakin. He brings me a bouquet of flowers everyday and buys me my favourite foods. Magdamag rin itong nag-aalaga sakin. But I should've known better. He told me he's sorry so probably it's just guilt. Pero hindi maialis sa isip ko when he told me he wants me to be his wife and be the mother of his kids?! In an instant, i felt my cheeks heaten.

I shrug off my feelings and told him..

"Zach, you don't need to. Tsaka, thank you rin. I guess this is the perks of having a best friend huh" i bitterly said. Nagdilim ang mukha niya sa huli kong sinabe

He leaned his face close to mine. "To make things clear, I am not doing this as your best fried but as your suitor. I like you Paige.. Screw that coz I think I already love you. And when I say I want you to be my girlfriend, you will be Paige. I'm gonna put a tag on you" seryoso nitong sabi

End of Flashback

(Back to the Present - Party)

Ng maka-alis si Khai at Trisha siniko ko siya sa gilid. He yelped in pain.

"What is that for?" Naguguluhan nitong tanong

"Anong girlfriend ang sinasabe mo? Lol hindi pa kita sinagot" masungit kong sabi at dinuro ang dibdib niya

He held my hand. "Yeah right and you were jealous because I was talking to a girl.." he leaned close to my face and whispered sexily "You're already putting a tag on me Paige. Just admit that" he tease

Mahina ko siyang sinapak. Tumawa lang siya. "Anyways I have a surprise for you" sabi niya at lumapit sa stage. Naguguluhan kong pinanood siya.

The lights immediately went off and a single spotlight is centred on me. I can see Zach in the center clearly.

"Paige, we've overcome challenges together for so long now and I still wanna overcome everything with you in the future. These past few days have been rough for the both of us and I wanna be with you till the end. I want to have the right to care for you, to protect you and to... love you" naiyak ako sa huli niyang sinabe. "Paige, I love you not as my best friend but as a lover and my other half. Will you please make me happy and give me the right to own you? Be my wife Paige" he begged on his knees

Naiyak ako sa kanyang sinabe but his last sentence caught my attention the most. I yelled saying "Anong be my wife ang pinagsasabi mo?! FYI Zach 18 pa lang tayo!" Reklamo ko

Umasim ang mukha niya "There's no way I'm letting a brat like you go. You are marrying me" finality is in his voice

Hindi ko maiwasang matawa. "Gago! Hindi na muna kita pakakasalan. But I can be your girlfriend instead" I negotiated

Napa-isip siya saglit "Fine but you are marrying me" pamimilit niya. Natawa nalang ako at napa-iling.

Linapitan ko siya tsaka ngumiti. Ganun din ang ginawa niya.

He cup my face "Finally! You are mine" and with that, he captured my lips. Nahiyawan ang mga tao sa paligid. I've never been this happy.
