Walking across the hot pavement, the waitress quickly entered the cool restaurant and let out a relieved sigh. The temperature was on the rise, which meant summer was literally on their doorstep. And Y/n already hated it. She hated the sweaty clothes that stuck to her body. The humidity, the sweat, the tiredness and the hotness. Just fucken hated it all. Except swimming. She loved swimming, so summer had only one good quality.

"Hey Y/n! Did you hear?" One of the cooks asked as she stepped into the breakroom that was for the employees.

"Hear what?" She asked as she stuffed her stuff into her locker.

"Megan Fox split from her husband!" The few employees that were there cheered for her, while she rolled her eyes and tied the apron around her waist. She knew she never should've told them the name of her soulmate, cause now they tease her at any chance they could get.

"If only she was my soulmate." Y/n replied with a laugh, knowing there was no way that the celebrity was actually her soulmate.

"Hey, you never know!" The waitress rolled her eyes before heading out to the floor and cleaning the tables.

When the restaurant opened for lunch, it was an unusual busy day, but it was actually good for her. Waitressing sucked and if she wanted to make any real money, tips were where it was at. And on a busy day like today, she was making good tips.

She saw most of her usual customers and they loved that she was so excited to see them. Y/n personality made coming to the restaurant and coming back to it better and better. That's mainly why she always made tips. The customers loved her and how sweet she was.

When it was nearly three, she went for her break, heading for the breakroom and relaxing for a bit. She scrolled through her phone, harvesting her farm on Farmville and selling what she needed too before one of the waitresses came running in with wide eyes. "Get your ass out there right now, you won't believe who just walked in!"

Y/n narrowed her eyes, but her co-worker took her phone from Y/n hands and slide it into the apron's pocket. "Go look!" She urged. Y/n rolled her eyes but stood and walked back onto the floor. She looked around but didn't see anything. But her co-worker turned her to the direction of a certain actress that had just recently split from her husband.

And that's when Y/n paled. There's no fucken way. It was a big coincidence. She wasn't that lucky to have a actress as a soulmate. Others maybe, but not her. "Hanna agreed to switch tables with you. Get your soulmate!" Y/n was pushed towards the table, the other waitress, Hanna gave her a wink and thumbs up, while Kristine smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.

"...and then can we go see the tigers? Please please please mommy?!" Y/n heard the little girl plead, not knowing what to think if this was actually her soulmate. When she came to stop in front of the table, both Y/n and Megan locked eyes and the actress smiled.

"Hi, I'm Y/n and I'll be your server. May I start you off with something to drink?" Megan's eyes widen, a goofy smile coming to her lips.

"You're pretty." The actress blushes as her daughter cackles, drawing the attention of the customers in the room.

"Whenever I had bad days, your sentence would always boost me, so thank you. And you're pretty cute too." Megan blushed as her daughter giggles.

"I'm Journey!" Y/n smiles and politely holds out her hand.

"Nice too meet you Journey! And that's a unique name, I like it!" The little girl smiles proudly, before looking at her mom.

"Can she come with us to the zoo, mommy?" Megan blinks, before looking at Y/n.

"Uh, would you like too?" Y/n really wants too, but she can't.

"Sadly, I can't. I wish I could, but, why don't we meet up for coffee soon. I have a dog that has way too much energy and needs a daily run."

"A dog? Mommmmmy! Please please pleassssseeeeeee!?"

"Okay, okay. I'll do it." The actress reached into her purse and pulled out her phone, handing it over to the waitress. "Save your number and I'll text you later tonight." Y/n nods, taking the phone and texting herself as well.

"Now, what would you ladies like to drink?"

In the back, money was handed over to the head chef as he smirks at the manager who shakes his head, "never underestimate my abilities." He counts his money as he walks away, a smirk on his face as he thinks about a bet on when they'll marry.
