The light shined brightly through the curtains, letting anyone from outside know someone was home. The noise that came from inside the house was only from the kitchen, where veggies were being chopped on the cutting board before being put into the pan. The tv that was on in the living room was on some random show with the volume turned way down. It was merely background for Y/n, the woman not caring for the show that wad on.
As she finished plating her food, her doorbell rang, which was odd considering the time of night. She carefully walked to the door, grabbing the bat that was by the door before looking through the peephole. Then letting out a relieved breath when she sees Jane on the otherside.
When Y/n opened the door, she could tell something wasn't right with her friend. Besides her swaying in her spot, Jane, the strongest woman Y/n knew, was crying. And that was a shock to Y/n because Jane never cried.
Pulling the woman inside, Y/n immediately hugged her friend, letting her break down in her arms, which she quickly did. Sobs came from the woman's mouth, tears quickly soaking Y/n's shirt, but she didn't care, only wishing her friend was okay. "Janey, what's wrong? Did someone hurt you? Are your friends okay?" She asks softly, but only got a muffled sob in reply.
Y/n quickly moved them to the couch so her feet and legs wouldn't hurt from standing too long. She let Jane cry, gently rubbing her back as she told her it would be okay. And after kissing her forehead a few times, Y/n gently laid Jane down on the couch. "Sweetheart, you need to tell me what happened because maybe I can help." But Jane shook her head as she let out a cough.
"Bosley died..." Jane muttered out, letting out another sob that broke Y/n's heart. Even though Y/n didn't know who Bosley was, her heart still ached.
"I'm so sorry, love..." Y/n whispered, pulling Jane into her lap and gently rocking her. Even though Jane was taller than Y/n and had way more muscles, the woman fit perfectly against Y/n's body. "It's okay baby girl, it's okay. I'm here.." it takes a while before Jane calms down. Y/n grabbing some tissue and gently dabs under her eyes.
"Talk to me baby girl, what happened? Are you hurt?" Jane shakes her head as she takes a deep breath.
"My job isn't... normal. I do a lot of things that are dangerous and Bosley... she... it went wrong... so wrong.." Y/n gently rubs her girlfriend's back, kissing her forehead softly.
"Are.. are you sure she's..." Y/n doesn't finish the sentence before Jane's nodding.
"I saw her.." Y/n wrapped her arms around the taller woman's waist and gently squeezes her.
"I'm so sorry love." Y/n kisses Jane's forehead, then rest her head on the taller woman's shoulder.
"Can we go to bed?"
"Eat first. We can take food in there, just no getting it on my bed, or you'll be cleaning it up missy." Jane gives her a small smile and then they're making their plates and walking into the bedroom. Y/n puts a movie on and even though she knows Jane isn't very hungry, she asks the girl to eat at least half before she sleep, wanting to take good care of her girlfriend.
Probably sucked, I'm sorry. Apparently 56% 9f Californian's are gonna get the virus, so I am very very anxious. STAY THE FUCK HOME AND WASH YOUR G9DDAMN HANDS! MY MOM AND DAD CAN GET VERY SICK BECAUSE OF THIS DAMN VIRUS. AJD STOP GOING TO SPRING BREAK YOU
