When the four Davenport siblings walked inside their home, they were greeted by strangers talking to their parents'. "Ah! Children, this is Mr. and Mrs. Y/l/n. They're new here."
"Hello." Mrs. Y/l/n smiled and quickly shook their hands, while Mr. Y/l/n merely gave a smile and nodded.
"They're gonna be working with us in the lab and their daughter, Y/n-"
"I heard my name?" Heads swivel around when they heard the voice in the hallway, smiles coming to the adults' faces, but the four teens froze when they saw her. She was just so... beautiful.
Bree immediately felt her leg vibrating with energy, but she needed to remain brave. The bionic girl smiled as she stepped forward, opening her mouth to say hello, but out came her step-mother's voice. Eye's widen and she slaps a hand over her mouth, but the girl just giggles.
"That's cute and pretty cool." A flush went across Bree's cheeks, stepping back as her three brothers' step forward, introducing themselves as they try to one up each other. But it seemed like Y/n only had eye's for Bree.
When it came time for dinner, the boys' try to get Y/n to sit by them, but Y/n merely smiled and sat by Bree, who let out a squeak. Y/n giggled and soon the family started to ask Y/n questions.
"You're parents said you have powers, may I ask how you got them and what you have?" Y/n cleared her throat and smiled.
"Of course. We were on a field for, first, our school system us different from yours. Second grade for you, is infant school for us. Which is when you're about 5 and 6. Something had happened that made the school collapse, I was the only one inside because I had forgot my bag, but I was stuck in the rubble for 3 days. I honestly should've died, but something happened and when they rescued me, they were surprised I was still alive, but very grateful. A couple days later, I was still home and when I sneezed, I flew to the ceiling. I screamed when it happened and my mum came running in and just stood there in shock. And then these powers started to come in one by one. I can run fast, freeze breath, super strength, fly. Um, I have a really fast metabolism, so I have to eat a lot. I really don't know what else to say." Y/n blushes, looking down at her plate.
"You're very brave Y/n. And my husband and I have been keeping up with BBC news and watch all the good you've help do."
"Thank you Mrs. Davenport." As dinner went on, the whole table laughed at Y/n's cheesy jokes, and Bree couldn't help but swoon over her.
When it was over and as they were saying their goodbyes at the door, Y/n gave a gentle kiss to Bree's cheek, the bionic teen's body vibrates in nervousness. "I'll see you tomorrow at school. Maybe you can show me around?" Bree blinked before slowly nodding. "Great, by Bree. Mr. and Mrs. Davenport. Gentlemen." She walks down the walkway, towards her parents, before they get in their car and disappear.
"Bree has a crush!" Leo sings, her brothers' teasing her as well. She blushes, weakly arguing against them, but can't help the smile that spreads across her lips. She just hopes she doesn't embarrass herself in front of her tomorrow.
