Looking back on it now, she was stupid she didn't see the signs back then. She wasted so much time dating to get over her, that when they finally told each other the truth, they found out how deep in love they actually were.
Let's start from the beginning. Like, not the beginning beginning, where they were being born, but the beginning where these two ladies met.
Y/n was a big fan of the show Emilia was on, she when she was told that if she wanted a small part that had to do with Emilia herself, she quickly agreed. And after getting things settled with her management team, made sure she had no shows or interviews, she flew out to the location for her first day on set.
It was pretty incredible meeting the cast and crew, fangirling over some people and even was able to get a funny picture with them, that she wasn't able to post until after the episode aired.
When she was told about her character before, she barely knew anything about her, just that she was a princess of some kingdom far away, and was sent for dragonglass blades, that was only found in Dragonstone. But now, they actually had put together a beautiful character, who kinda portrayed Y/n.
Her character, Mary Louise Perry, was from the side of the that wasn't shown. She heard about dragonglass, a steel that's nearly unbreakable and it would be of use to her and her kingdom. She was told about the mad King's daughter, the only living heir there was, and to be careful around her. The ships that followed Y/n were warriors that would protect their Queen at all costs. In the end, Mary and Khaleesi become romantic lovers and that's all Y/n was told. But honestly, she stopped listening after being told about her character and Emilia's character being lovers.
The whole time she was shooting her scenes with Emilia, she was afraid something would go wrong, but nothing ever did. Which she was internally grateful for. However, when the first kiss between their characters happened, it didn't go as planned, which, wasn't really anyone's fault. One time, Y/n leaned to far forward and nearly fell off the bed, and another time someone's phone rang, the camera ran out of battery life, it was different things, but when they did finally kiss, it was magical. And Y/n could tell Emilia felt it too.
Months after shooting and when the episodes came out and she was actually able to say she was on the show, it was thrilling and very funny to see people freak when they learned she was the Queen's love interest. And when the Emmy's came around, she was surprised to see herself nominated. She honestly didn't think she did a good enough job for it, but would totally accept the award if she did win.
She arrived with the cast and crew, lights and cameras going off and photographers asking for poses and more pictures. She was having fun, until the real part came. Y/n sat beside Emilia the whole time, forming a bond with the beautiful woman when she was working with her, both holding their breaths when time came.
"And the winner for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series is..... Y/n Y/l/n in Games of Thrones!" The table cheered for her, Emilia standing up and kissing her cheek, which Y/n was amazed she didn't faint at, and walked up with a smile.
"Wow, um, thank you so much. I didn't think I did that great of a job, but this says otherwise. I've been a fan of the show since it started and as many know from my Instagram and Twitter pages, I'm a bit obsessed with the show, but I always asked.the directors to write me a part and if they did, I'd write music for them. And when I got the call, I screamed at my manager and I think I may've given him a heart attack, sorry Brian." The crowd chuckles and Y/n sees the universal 'hurry the hell up' sign. "Thank you for thinking I deserve this, thank you for the cast and crew for putting up with me and Emilia, thank you for not telling me my breath stinks." The blonde haired woman chuckles and Y/n walks off stage, handing the trophy over before walking into a room filled with reporters.
When she headed back to her table, the cast hugged her and told her she definitely deserved the win, the redness in her cheeks only getting redder by the second. After everyone settled down and they were announcing another category, Emilia leaned over and whispered into Y/n's ear, "come back to my suite after here?" Y/n turned to look at her, making sure she heard right, and when she saw the woman's darkening eyes, she slowly nodded, earning a smile.
That night, was the greatest and wildest night of her life. She had kinks that she didn't think she'd ever have and the things Emilia did with her tongue, even thinking about it made her hot.
However, in the morning, Y/n had to leave early, leaving Emilia a note to call her later, but when later came and went and Y/n never got the call, she thought it was just a one night stand and was disappointed. But, she still had that night, and it was the best night ever.
Many years later, when Emilia and Y/n meet up again, the women hug each other tightly, promises to meet up later in the day, and this time, exchange numbers.
At the restaurant later the day, they talked about movies and shows they've been in and Y/n talks about her 6th studio album that was coming out pretty soon. "I still can't believe I won that Emmy. I swear you're a good luck charm for me."
"You won because of your incredible acting, although, what happened later on that night was honestly the best part of my evening." Y/n blushed, looking down as she pushed her food around with her fork.
"I wanted to take you on a date after that. May I ask why you didn't call me after?" Emilia's head snaps up at the comment, looking confused.
"Call you? Hunny, I didn't have your number.."
"I wrote it down though. It was by the coffee maker. Said I had a amazing time and wanted to see you again, then put my number, I swear I put it by the coffee maker." Both ladies get quiet as they stare at each other, before busting put laughing. "You mean to tell me, I could've taken you out so long ago?"
"Yea, I fell in love with you Y/n, when we were filming and it was scary at first, but you were so incredible and amazing and I just left myself feel." Y/n blushed, telling Emilia that she felt the same.
"Go out with me? Let's make up the time we lost?"
"I'd love too." Y/n smiles brightly, both ladies talk about what type of date they'd like to go on. And yea, if they'd have just been straightforward with each other, they probably would've been more than friend's, but Y/n is happy they get a shot at it now, both ladies happy to make up for lost time.
