It was after midnight when she got home from the school. Her feet ached, and she was starved. These witches and warlocks need to be taught the right way, not the way Faustus thought they should be taught. Such an imbecile.
Walking through the living room, Zelda stopped when she saw her wife sleeping on the couch. A small smile came to her lips as she stared at the sleeping beauty her wife was, before frowning. Why was she on the couch and not in their bed? Both Y/n and Zelda knew that the couch was hell on her back. Until Zelda remembered what she had told her beautiful wife this morning before she left.
"I'll be back early, my love." Is what she whispered before kissing Y/n's soft warm lips, and leaving for school. A sigh escaped her lips, guilt feeling her chest as she leaned down. She ran her fingers through her wife's silky soft hair, and gently roused her.
"Hi.." she whispers, her voice still soft even when she was asleep. "You're home."
"I'm sorry, my love. The ac-" Y/n chuckles, shaking her head as she sits up.
"Don't be sorry, love. I know how dedicated you are to the school. Trying to get it back to it's original glory." Zelda looked at her wife, still wondering how she managed to get this beautiful woman.
"What did I do to deserve someone like you?" Y/n chuckled, standing and pulling Zelda up with her.
"The same thing I did to deserve someone like you." Y/n pulls her wife in for a soft kiss, before taking Zelda hand, and pulling her upstairs to her room. But, Y/n makes a pit stop. Checking in on Sabrina first, kissing the girl's forehead before heading to their room.
They change quickly, pulling each other into bed, then snuggling up to each other. Zelda watches as Y/n quickly falls asleep, knowing already how her day's gonna go tomorrow.

Ambrose, Sabrina and Hilda are already at the kitchen table when Y/n walks in. She gives Sabrina and Ambrose kisses on their cheeks, and hugs Hilda as she says her good morning's. "Zelda will be down in a few-" Y/n's eyes widen when she sees what her wife's wearing. Skinny jeans and a beautiful flowing blouse. Was there a casual day at school?
"Uh, Auntie Zee?"
"Close your mouth Ambrose, I don't want to see your food." She scolds her nephew.
"Darling, don't you habe work today?" Y/n asks, handing her the coffee cup.
"No, I decided to take the day off." Ambrose has to pat his chest when he hears that and Sabrina widens her eyes.
"Why?" Y/n questions, because even though they've only been married a few months, she knows how dedicated Zelda was to the school.
"Because of last night."
"What happened last night Aunt Zee?" Sabrina asks, not recalling anything unusual.
"I left my beautiful wife at home, waiting up for me when I said I was going to be home early. I haven't been a very good wife lately-"
"Zelda Phiona Spellman, you listen and you listen well. You are a very wonderful and truly amazing wife. I think him everyday that he brought me closer to you and I even thank Father Blackwood, because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be married to you. Just because you are always at the school, doesn't mean you're a bad wife. It just means you care about those children. You want to see them rise, and they are. And it's because of you. I know who I was marrying, when I said yes, and I accepted it, but I love you because of it. It shows your passion and you were made to teach. You aren't a horrible or bad wife, you're a incredible, sweet, loving and caring one who's always so attuned to me and everyone else." Zelda pulls her wife in for a soft kiss, Hilda pushing the kids out of the room, before leaving herself.
"Again, I ask what did I do to deserve a beautiful loving woman like you?" Zelda asks, looking into her wife's eyes. Y/n smiles, pulling her wife in for another kiss, already thinking of what to do with her wife's sudden day off. Y/n just hopes Hilda will follow the kids to school.
