The Queen's new Queen

Walking into the performance center, Y/n didn't  think her mom and step-dad would actually be using it over the weekend, but it was a performance center, so really.... Y/n was just hoping for peace and quiet as she trained.

"Are you joining us?" Hunter asks, his voice gruff from the cold he was getting over.

"No, I just wanted to do some things." She shrugs, walking past, but a hand catches her arm.  She stops as she sighs, turning around to face her mom, who was giving her a smirk.

"In the ring young lady." Y/n gives a pout, dropping her bag, and hopping up on the apron. She leans on the ropes, but the raised eyebrow that Hunter giver her tells her she's suppose to be inside the ring. Her head falls forward, but she slips between the ropes and walks over to him.

"Charlotte, in the ring." Y/n's eyes widen, the blonde smirking as she slips between the ropes.

"What?! No! Charlotte, out of the ring! Hunterrrr!" She whines, stomping her foot. Her step-dad just smirks and slides out of the ring, standing next to her mom, who was also smirking.

The tall blonde quickly advances on her, causing a yelp to fall out of her lips as she rushes away. "Charlie, I swear to God, stop woman!"

The girls on the apron laugh, most cheering on Charlotte, while Nattie, who's Y/n's favorite, cheers her on. "Come on Y/n!"

"I'll give you fifty if you stop!" Y/n tells the blonde, but the girls start booing.

"Kick her ass Charlotte!" Becky calls out, earning a glare from Y/n, but The Man just laughs and claps her hands.

"I'm not a test subject you know!" She calls to her mom, sending her a pout, but Stephanie raises her eyebrow. And it's a big enough distraction that Charlotte grabs her and swings her around, throwing her to ground. The blonde climbs the ropes, attempting to do a moonsult, but Y/n rolls just as Charlotte flips off, and the wrestler to land on her feet.

Now, Y/n's ready to go. "Alright, let's go blondie." The cheers get louder and even though it's a tough fight, it's also fun. However, she may've gotten too comfortable. When Charlotte was down, Y/n climbed up the the ropes, wanting to perform Twisted Bliss, but she stood up too quick, loosing her balance and falling backwards, and onto the ground below with a thud.

Y/n gave a groan, as everyone rushed towards her. Charlotte reaching her first, leaning her over as she checks her over. "Y/n, babe no, stay still."

"My head hurts.." she whimpers, putting a hand over her eyes.

"Dad's getting the medic. Stay still baby girl." Y/n kinda zones out, not really knowing what happens, but knows she's safe because her mom's with her.

She's taken to the hospital for safe measure, which was a good call because the doctor admits her for overnight observation. The doctor does tell her she has a mild concussion, another reason why they want to keep her overnight.

After she gets admitted and after the rush of the nurses and doctors dwindles off, her mom finally walks in with her bad in her hand. "How are you feeling?"

"Okay, a bit tired. But the headache is gone, so that's something." Stephanie frowns as she runs her fingers through her daughter's hair.

"I'm sorry baby girl."

"It's my fault momma. But dad did that on purpose. He knows I have a crush on her."

"Don't lie, it hasn't been a crush for a long time. You're in love with the woman, tell her."

"And have her kidnap me like dad did you? No thank you."

Stephanie huffs out a laugh, "it was a promo."

"It was stupid. And it needs to change. I know I didn't know grandma for a while, but I have seen past promos, and the one where grandpa kisses whoever in front of her... I don't like those old things. It's not funny. The system has to change. And when I get this company, it will change."

"Back to your crush with Charlotte-"

"I'm in love with the woman mom, not a crush."

"Your dad was just trying to help."

"Dad needs to stop and smile once in a while." Y/n grumbles. Stephanie chuckles, kissing her daughter's forehead. "Besides, I have something most ladies don't have. What if she doesn't like that, what if she thinks I'm a freak."

"Everyone's gonna have to know sooner or later. But you aren't a freak, you're special. And Hunter will beat anyone up who says otherwise. But, it might surprise you, she could like you back." Stephanie wiggles her eyebrows, but Y/n shakes her head.

However, no-one knows that a certain blonde is standing in the hallway, listening to their conversation. A smile on her face knowing Y/n loves her too. For now, she'll let Y/n rest, but when she's better, she better be ready cause she'll be the Queen's new Queen. Charlotte is gonna woo the shit outta her.
