Not only was Lima, Ohio a homophobic town, there was shit to do if you were a teen that wanted to take their guy or gal out. Yes, there were movies, a bowling alley and one hell of a mini golf course, but the only restaurant they had was Breadstixs and that just wasn't gpod enough. Besides, Karla and Rachel already take their ladies there every Friday as a reward. It's not date night material.
"We can pick sticks again." Karla suggested, but Rachel shook her head as she sighed.
"No use. This town doesn't have much to do and I highly doubt our parents would let us go another town for date night. No matter how responsible we are." Both Rachel and Karla keep thinking, trying to come up with a place or an idea on what to do, but get's interrupted by Leroy.
"Hi daddy!" He smiles and leans down to kiss her cheek.
"Hi princess, hello Karla. How are you two ladies doing?"
"Horrible, Mr. Berry." Rachel nods in agreement, a small pout coming to the singer's lips.
"First, I keep telling you to call me Leroy Karla and second, why so horrible?"
"We're trying to figure out something for date night daddy! We want it to be fun, but there's literally nothing in this town. And I don't want to go to Breadstixs again or watch a new movies. We need something fun..."
"Well, the carnival's in town, take them to that. That's where your dad and I were gonna go. Be touch ladies and try to win them something. Go on the Ferris wheel and kiss them at the top, eat junk food and greasy food. That'll be an amazing date night."
"You're a genius daddy!" He chuckles and pats his shoulder.
"I know. The reason I came in here was to ask for your lunch orders, we're having Mexican." He leaves after getting their orders, both ladies texting their girlfriend(s) and telling them the dress code.
Karla is shocked at what Rachel wears, never once seeing the girl wear anything but dresses. She has on tight jeans that show off her curves, a flowing yellow blouse and her hair is up in a high ponytail. And Karla had to admit, she looked sexy. "Lookin' good miss Berry." Rachel blushed, sticking out her tongue before finish getting ready. And Karla's reply wasn't the only one like that. Santana and Brittany were also in shock, but said she'd look good and that Quinn better keep her, but the only person opinion that really mattered was Quinn's, and a deep kiss was the blonde's answer. What a answer too.
"So, where we goin'?" Santana asks as they get in Karla's car.
"The Fair. Daddy told me it was in town and Karla and I wanted something new."
"You gonna win us stuffed animals princess?" Santana asked, staring at Karla throw the mirror.
"The biggest baby girl." Both Karla and Santana smirk, then start making small talk as Karla drove.
Unsurprisingly, it's pretty packed so getting a parking spot was tough, but luckily found one as a family left. Rachel happily pays for them all, Quinn pulling her girlfriend in for a sweet kiss and Santana comments that she'll be getting lucky tonight.
Karla walks between Brittany and Santana, holding their hands as the walk down the aisle, wondering what to do first. And Rachel has her arms wrapped around Quinn's waist, with her head resting on the blonde's shoulder.
"Oh, how about a ring toss?" Karla asks, stepping up to the game and handing over money. "And look, if you ring that gold bottle, you get a iPad." Rachel stepped up and handed over money as well, getting a basket of rings. As Karla goes first, Rachel takes her time. Karla misses most of them, except 2 lucky one's and gets a small teddy bear, where as Rachel's lucky ass makes five, and the fifth one lands on the gold bottle. Rachel smiles and hands the iPad over to Quinn, who gives a proud smile, while Karla and Santana pout.
"Lucky shot Berry.." the Latina grumbles, but Rachel merely grins. They play a few more games, Rachel showing off her hidden talent of winning the nearly impossible games before they eat.
They wait an hour before going on some rides and then finish with the Ferris Wheel and getting a kiss on top. It's sad they leave, having an insanely good time, but both Rachel and Karla have a big day tomorrow and need to get se sleep tonight.
When they arrive back home, the girlfriends share kisses, before hugging their friends. "Text me when you get home. I love you, Quinn." Quinn gives a nod and presses her lips against Rachel's one last time before nodding.
"I love you too and I will." Rachel and Karla wave until the car's, then head inside. The date night was amazing, but know they'll have to come up.with something new next time. At least Rachel has a new iPad to research ideas on. Karla still thinks she paid the attendant somehow.
