Alex

His tight black skinny jeans framed every single inch of his gorgeous legs, giving them the perfect definition. His tank top showed off his large arm muscles, probably from his drum playing, and they made my mouth water. His brown curly hair was pushed back out of his face by his headband. His big, bright eyes were filled with joy. And his smile. Oh, his smile. Those dimples could make a girl fall to her knees. He's just the definition of perfect. I truly thought he was the best guy I could get, but I knew it would never happen.

For one, he's taken and two, he's my professor.

Yes, I thought my English professor was the most attractive man I have ever seen. Every single thing about him was perfect, and I wish I didn't think that. I wanted him, but I shouldn't... it was wrong. But, he was younger than most teachers, and he is in a band. He couldn't possibly be that old.

_______

"Alex, wait!" My friend, Sarah, called out. She ran up to me and swung her arm over my shoulder as I walked out of my previous class. "Did you see Mr. Irwin in those pants?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes and nodded my head. Of course my best friend knew that I was absolutely infatuated with my English professor.

"I hate college sometimes. Like, why do the professors have to be so hot? And some of them so young?" I questioned, sighing, as I continued to walk with her to the library. I needed to catch up on some of my studying since we have finals coming up in English. To be honest, I'm not too great in that class because of Mr. Irwin. He was always distracting me by his laugh, his cute dimples, his eyes, and his body. I need to stop thinking about him in that way, but it was difficult.

"He's gorgeous, Lex. You need to get with him!" She giggled as we stepped into the large library. "Plus, he's not even married."

"Sarah, he's taken. I have seen pictures of his girlfriend on his desk. Have you not seen it?" I said sharply trying to get the message through her thick skull. Sarah just wasn't good at letting things go. She constantly wants to hold onto to something great even when she shouldn't, but it doesn't always work out that way. She just separated from her boyfriend of three years, and she still mourns over their relationship ending.

"It doesn't matter. Relationships don't always last, Alex," she said softly holding her head down. I sighed and stopped pulling her into me. As she hugged me, she let small tears escape her bright blue eyes.

"It's all okay now, Sarah. He was a waste of your time. Don't worry. There's plenty of guys out there that are worth your love," I said as she wiped her eyes, fixing her makeup. She nodded her head and started walking with me again. "Anyway, I don't have a chance with Mr. Irwin. I mean, look at me! I have blue hair for crying out loud, I'm not as pretty as his girlfriend, and I'm too young."

"Alex, you're beautiful. He's dumb if he can't see that you're the best looking girl in all of his classes! And I think your blue hair is amazing." She stated taking a random seat in the library and grabbing out her textbook.

"Thanks, but I don't think so. I'm not like other girls anyways."

She just shrugged her shoulders and flipped to a certain page in her book, "Well, let's get started."

________

After a few hours of studying my brain was fried. "I can't read another word." I rubbed my eyes, trying to get rid of the pounding in my head. I have never focused so hard in my life, and it didn't even work. The studying we did just didn't stick with me. I needed to get a tutor, which meant that I needed to talk to Mr. Irwin.

"Sarah, I got to go talk to Mr. Irwin, I'll see you later!" I said running off to the English classroom. I wasn't looking forward to talking to Mr. Irwin, but, I didn't have a choice right now.

My feet slowed down right outside of his door as I looked around me. Nobody was here since it was past school hours. I grabbed the strap of my bag, holding onto it for dear life. I grabbed the handle and slowly opened the door, poking my head in first seeing if he was even there. And he was. Well, here goes nothing.

I knocked on the door. "Um, Mr. Irwin?" I asked stepping fully into his classroom, letting the door slam behind me. I cringed at the sound but stood where I was, waiting for a reply.

"Yes?" He asked, not taking his eyes off his computer. When I didn't answer he looked up from his computer and smiled, "Oh, Hey, Alexandria, what's up?" He asked standing up, and leaning against his desk. I took his actions as an invitation to actually talk to him, so I made my feet carry me over to the front of the class.

"I wanted to talk to you about my grades," I said softly, fiddling with my fingers, trying not to look at him. I literally had to force my eyes away from his arms and his legs, his face... and everything. He didn't respond, so I look up to find him staring at me with a confused looked on his face.

"You're passing my class, Alexandria," he simply stated giving me a soft smile. I had to look away. His smile was so captivating.

"Well, I have a C. My parents don't like that letter, so I just wanted to see if you could possibly help me find a tutor or something?" I asked, looking at him again.

Mr. Irwin laughed a little bit, "Yes, of course. Let's see who has good grades in this course," he said walking back around his desk and typed on his computer again. His eyes scanned over the page and I couldn't help but stare. He had this look of concentration on his face, and it was just so hot. "Hmm, it looks like your friend Sarah has good grades."

"I tried just now studying with her, and I just couldn't concentrate. We get distracted with girl talk," I laughed slightly. He nodded his head and looked back at his laptop.

"Well, I don't know if you want to have a male tutor..." he trailed off looking up at me with his big eyes. I just nodded, giving him the permission of assigning me a male tutor. I honestly didn't care, I mean, I got along with men pretty well actually. "Okay, there's Wyatt, he's pretty good in this class. He has an A and he really focuses in class. I think he might be your best option."

"That sounds great! Thank you Mr. Irwin!" I said happily, giving him a bright smile.

"I must warn you Alexandria," he started, looking at me, "if anything other than English happens during your tutor sessions, I have to assign you someone else. Wyatt is an attractive young man, so I don't want you to get distracted," he said giving me a slight nod.

I just nodded back, not understanding why he told me that. I wasn't going to make out with Wyatt! He wasn't the type of guy I wanted. I wanted my teacher... but I will be honest, Wyatt was very attractive. "I won't do anything, Mr. Irwin." I finally got my words together.

"Great. I'll see you tomorrow," he said giving me another sweet smile. I sighed and turned to leave. I just had to get away from him because his smile and his laugh and everything about him was driving me crazy. I am just glad I might actually pass this class! Maybe I will focus more with Wyatt instead of Mr. Irwin. "Oh, Alexandria," I stopped and turned around, my hand on the doorknob, "you and Wyatt will be studying in my classroom if that's okay?"

I simply nodded my head and left.

He's my professor... and I wanted him.
