"Did you call the boys?" Sarah asked as we pulled into a parking spot near the beach. I searched through my bag for my phone to see if Ashton texted me he couldn't make it, or if they were here.

We're here, down by the deck. xx -Ash

I nodded my head, and grabbed my stuff together while Sarah pulled out the umbrella and towels. We both headed our way down to the water, searching for the deck Ashton was talking about. I never went to the beach when I was younger since I enjoyed the chilly season. "There," I said pointing out in the distance to the four figures sitting with their feet in the water.

"Let's scare them!" Sarah whispered to me as we dropped our belongings in the sand right near the deck. We slowly made our way over to the four and kept quiet, hoping to scare them. Sarah got behind Luke and I got behind Ashton and we both leaned in close to Michael and Calum. 'On three' she mouthed to me. 'one' my hands were inches from Ashton's back, 'two' my hands made their way closer to his skin, 'three,' "AHHH!" we yelled. As we were yelling, we both pushed Luke and Ashton into the water, leaving Michael and Calum holding their hands to their chests.

"What the fu-"

"Hey!" Ashton and Luke said at the same time as they resurfaced from the water. "That wasn't nice."

Sarah and I couldn't hold our laughter in. "You two look like you just had a heart attack, and you guys look like wet kangaroos." Sarah said while having a laughing fit.

Luke looked up at her confused, "Kangaroos?"

"Yeah, because you're Australian."

He smiled at her as he lifted himself back onto the deck, shaking his hair out like a dog. Ashton was still in the water looking up at me with a smirk on his face, "What's wrong?" I asked with an innocent smile.

"You're mean," he pouted, sticking his tongue out at me as he swam back to the deck to dry off. "It's very cold in there," he stated as he shook his head like Luke did just seconds ago. "And I'm tempted to throw you in there."

"You wouldn't!"

He smiled, "Test me."

"I have to tan, so if you need me, I'll be over there." I went back to where we dropped out stuff and set my towel where I wanted to get some sun. I wasn't pale, I actually have a natural tan, I just wanted to be darker. I didn't want to get wet, so I would rather enjoy a nice day in the hot sun. But, I also wanted to pass my classes, so I would be studying also. I dug through my bag and pulled out the textbook I had brought with me. Sarah saw me pulling out the textbook and ran over to me, "Are you serious?" she asked taking the book from my hands, "We just got out of school! Enjoy the beach!"

I rolled my eyes and snatched the book back, "Leave me alone. I didn't get a good score last time. I need to get out of this University."

She sighed, "Fine, but I'm going to hang out with the lads. I think Ashton's going to want to hang out with his girlfriend," she said shrugging her shoulders at me.

"He can come up here then. Go have fun," I said pointing out the where Luke was looking at her from his place in the water. He was totally in love with her. "How are you and Luke?"

She peeled off her cover-up and threw it on my bag, "We talk a lot more now. I think we could actually work out. Now that I've gotten over my ex, he seems perfect, ya know?"

I looked over at Ashton laughing with the boys, "Yes, I totally understand."

She smiled down at me, "Have fun being boring!" she yelled as she ran back down to the water. I sighed and pulled open the textbook, scanning over the material we learned months ago. I tried to have Ashton tutor me, but we always seem to get distracted with each other.
