Fading Flame( Demon Kyojuro x Reader)

Chapter 36

Y/N's POV

" Y/N, stand back." Kyojuro said seriously making me back away a little. I may want to decline and fight with him but he is so serious. You can feel the intense air he is giving, and I'm sure the others also felt it. A sudden gush of wind appeared making me cover my eyes using my arms. There I saw Kyojuro and the upper moon one fighting so fastly. Himejima-san can't even take a chance to join them cause they are so fast.

They both keep on exchanging attacks to each other, not even letting one of them get close infont. I was amazed when Kyojuro easily cut the upper moon's arm making it fell down before passing through upper moon one but the demon also easily counter attack giving cut into Kyojuro's shoulder and cheeks. The fight was so intense, so this is the fight of a demon who had a power closer to Muzan.

" You waste your strong strength Rengoku, if you didn't betray that man then you should had become an upper rank demon also." Upper moon one said while regenerating his hand that was cut, Kyojuro didn't said anything but coldly staring at upper moon one. His cuts was also healed, of course he is a demon after all.

" I'm different from you Kokoshibou-san, I still have my humanity." Kyojuro replied before dashing towards upper moon one, Himejima-san also attacked the demon so both of them are fighting him. I was just watching them waiting for a chance to attack also, I then sense Sanemi-san  behind me making me turn around.

He is panting a little and he already stitched the big wound in his stomach. His eyes was slightly widened when he saw the fight became more intense. Well who will not be surprised, the two of us can't even push back upper moon one and yet Kyojuro easily cut his arms. With the help of Himejima-san  they are now pushing the demon back.

But Sanemi-san also joined making me clenched my sword to join also. I was now preparing to help them but I stopped when Kyojuro give me a serious look, like he was saying to stay back and rest. I bit my lips and didn't do anything but stand infront of them. Kyojuro then used one of his form and appeared infront upper moon one while swinging his sword forcely creating a strong explosion.

When the sorrounding calm down, my eyes widened when I saw the three of them got caught in upper moon one's sword. His sword just increased, Himejima-san and Sanemi-san cutted the sword to make them free while grunting. I then heard Kyojuro cough blood while grunting in pain, I then decided to interfere. So I clenched my sword and dashed towards the demon.

" Breath of the sun: Fire wheel!" I spin my body breaking the small blade that stabbed Kyojuro releasing him before sping again and swing my sword to upper moon one. I saw his movement making me blocked his sword but because his sword has increased my shoulder got cut deeply making me wince in pain. I then used my strength to push him and Sanemi-san took the chance to attack him.

I them hurriedly approach Kyojuro who is holding his stomach that got stab. I realized that we are facing a former demon slayer so it means his wound will take long to heal. I worriedly faced him making him smile and ruffles my head.

" Thank you, Y/N. You should rest, we will defeat him." He said while walked passed through me.

" Let me fig-" I was shocked when he pulled me into a kiss cutting me before pulling away. He then cupped my face while showing a gentle smile.

" Use your strength when we face Muzan." He whispered before letting me go and went towards upper moon one. I didn't said anything but just watch his back, it's true that we need more strength to kill Muzan but why am I not allowed to join in fight? They will also use their all strength while facing an upper rank demon. I then started walking near them I will fight, I can't just let them use  all of their remaining power.
