Author's note #1: I've edited the whole story and merged some of the smaller/filler chapters together. 23 chapters have been cut down so the chapter numbers will also be different from what it was before. The story is still 100% the same, and no chapters have been deleted or anything, just moved around.Comments and votes have also been cut down in the process which is a shame. Sorry about any of the confusion anyway but I wanted to just tidy everything up.
Author's note #1.5: So I majorly fucked up and accidentally deleted 11 of the finished, edited chapters. So now I'm trying to rush and write them back up. Some of them were super long and my notes weren't as detailed as they are now.
Author's note #2: Originally this chapter was going to be split into 2 but then I felt like the first part was lacklustre and too much of a build up. In the end I just put them together and I think the flow is better.
So hopefully you all enjoy this super long chapter.

A couple of days later it was a very hot day as Adrian went to the mall with Adam, mainly to shop and have a bit of lunch together. The first place they went into was a Wendy's.
They ordered their food and sat down with it at one of the empty tables in the restaurant. Biting into the succulent burger and fries, the pair of best friends were idly making small conversations when the topic moved onto relationships.
"So, I never did ask about your weekend away with Ashley..."
Adam blushed nervously as he drank from his soda to buy time. "How much did Brody tell you?"
"Nothing that you aren't going to tell me, am I right?" Adrian joshed.
Adam vigorously shook his head as he wasn't going to spill the beans about his time with Ashley. "A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell, what we do in private stays between us, Adrian my boy."
Ever since they both hit puberty at the same time, Adam was always the more outgoing and womaniser kind of teenager, while Adrian was more restrictive and private. "Wow you really have changed haven't you? Not long ago it was all about notches on your bedpost and detailed descriptions."
Adam shrugged his shoulders, he had changed ever since he started dating Ashley. "When you meet someone you really like, everything you thought you knew about yourself flies out the window. You should know all about that."
Adrian thought about what Adam said in regards to his own relationship with Brody, had he really changed? "Explain."
"You used to be allergic to having a date with someone and getting their phone number. You used to always hold everything back and never pursue anyone, but now look at you. You practically hang off every single one of Brody's words, always having and leaving hickeys on Brody at every opportunity."
Adrian was always a bad liar, and he couldn't hide the blinding grin he had on his face as he reflected on his personality change.
"So now it's my turn to ask, how are things with you and Brody then? I mean if it isn't already obvious when we all see you together."
Adrian's heart warmed at the words he said. "We're the best we've ever been."

Adrian had bought a cinnamon bun to take home, one of Brody's favourite food that Adrian wanted to treat him too. He had to ignore the playful smile Adam was teasing him with, loving how he saw Adrian being so sweet towards Brody with the even sweeter gesture.
