Adrian was staring at the photo on his phone that was taken with Brody before they left. He had sent the picture to himself so he could look at it whenever he wanted it, eventually changing it to his screensaver so that he could see it everyday.

Looking into the rear view mirror, "Sweetie, you're doing it again..." Sally joked as she noticed her son staring at his phone again.

Putting his phone away, "Sorry." He apologised as the tint of red showed up on his cheeks after getting caught.

Sally nudged her sister as they both began to tease him even more since they left. "Cat got your tongue? Or is it the devilishly handsome boyfriend that's making you flustered?"

"No!" Adrian pouted as he resisted crossing his arms to wrinkle up his suit.

"Come on sweetie, you know you don't have to pretend to be shy." Sally told her son.

"I'm not pretending, I'm just feeling really shy right now." Adrian confessed, he knew the next couple of hours in the car was going to result in lots of questions from his aunt.

"I knew I liked that boy!" Susie stated out loud.

Brody had left a good impression on all of Susie's family ever since they first met at thanksgiving. And she still saw him as the perfect gentlemen like he was back in the holidays.

"How long have you two been dating?" Susie asked, desperate to know about her nephew's relationship.

"It's actually been 2 months today since we became official." Adrian was amazed at how quick time flew by.

So much, yet so little, has happened in that short amount of time, and Adrian wouldn't change any second of the journey he shared with Brody.

"That's wonderful Adrian, make sure you take the relationship at your own pace." Susie advised.

Sally snickered from her seat as she was about to reveal how more information, "Too late for that..." She whispered.

"What do you mean by that, Sally?" Susie asked as she glanced at her sister briefly.

"Mom..."

Sally squealed in her seat as she shared more information about her son's relationship, ecstatic that she got to talk to her family about it. "They've already said I love you!"

Susie dangerously smacked her sister in the arm whilst driving, excitement bubbling over. "Shut up! Oh my god!"

"Yeah yeah! At thanksgiving too!" Sally squealed with happiness even louder.

Adrian was groaning from the back of the car as his mom was enjoying gossiping about him - with him right behind them. He had to cover the little smile he had on his face using his hands to cover his mouth.

Back home, Brody had slipped out of the house when he saw Ollie was snoozing in his bed. With a spring in his step, he went to become a third wheel in Ashley and Adam's lunch date.

Meeting them at the coffee shop, he had ordered his usual when they sat down together.

"So I take it they've left already?" Ashley asked.

Brody nodded his head as he struggled a little to breakdown his muffin with one hand.

"A whole week without puking from watching you both, it's a blessing in disguise." Adam joshed as he poked fun at the pair.

Brody rebelled by tossing a piece of his muffin at Adam. Ashley didn't help by joining in with the laughter, so Brody threw a piece at her too.

"Besides, it's only 4 days." Brody muttered quietly.
