* Scenes of violence and blood in this chapter.~~~~~~~~~~~
Adrian could feel the dread course through his body as Sam was forcing him towards the car park. He couldn't do anything but follow orders, knowing that Sam was completely deranged if he was willing to go to this extent to intimidate Adrian. Looking down at himself, Adrian saw a touch of blood seep through his shirt.
Adrian tried to remain calm as he attempted to talk Sam down. "Please don't do this Sam, you're going to regret it."
"I don't think you're the one that should be going around and calling the shots now are you?" Sam emphasised this as he made sure Adrian still knew the knife was by his side.
"You don't want to do this!" Adrian exclaimed, trying his best to prevent anything worse happening.
Sam was manically laughing out loud, like a classic movie villain as he edged Adrian further into the darkness of the car park. "Oh believe me, I do! I've been planning this for a long time, just not myself doing this, but then again I had to improvise."
"You'll get caught Sam! Just stop before this goes too far." It was Adrian's last ditch attempt to talk his way out of the situation.
"My family has too much money, too much power over this stupid town, and we can easily buy our way out of anything. There are no cameras around, and no witnesses to say anything."
Adrian recalled his surroundings and realised he was right, no one could see what was happening in the only blind spot right now. Sam continued, "I'll just claim everything was self-defence and you attacked me first, money makes the world go around, and money will buy my freedom."
Adrian tried to stall, hoping that Sam would either calm down or someone would come and help him. "So what's the plan then? Why are you even doing this?"
Sam became more jittery as his manic behaviour intensified. "I'm going to make sure no one ever wants you again, especially Brody. Once he sees you after I'm finished, he'll be running miles away from you."
Adrian swallowed nervously at the threat, the intimidation was working as Adrian became even more scared for his life.
"Honestly, I don't even know what the guy sees in you?! You're not rich, and you're pretty dumb too. How does he even think you're attractive. And don't even get me started with how much of an arrogant douche you are."
Adrian took all of it in as he fired back, "At least I'm not a psychopath!"
Sam made Adrian regret saying that as he angrily plunged the knife into Adrian's side. Adrian quickly huddled with pain as he felt the blade pierce his body.
'Maybe I shouldn't have pissed off the guy with a knife...' Adrian thought to himself.
Adrian tried to mask the pain as he braced himself. "So, this is all about Brody? Is that why you're doing this?"
"Of course!" Sam shouted, as if it made sense. "Things were bad at home, my sister went missing, and my parents were blaming each other. And life was so shit at home, I missed her so much. But then Brody came along, and he made everything better. He always tried his best to cheer me up, we would hang out all the time and practice together. Brody's such a great kisser too, he would make me lose my mind over how his lips felt against mine."
Adrian watched Sam smile to himself, completely creeped out by his behaviour and him reminiscing his time with Brody. "He made me happy when we were together, and I wish we had more time together. But then he drifted away from me..."
