So Dess_Basilisk and I were having a conversation when she died because of the BOTFA.

So I edited it some and here it is!

So, yeah. Enjoy!

****************

It was late at night when Vanadessë and I had went for a walk. I was gone for so long that I can barely remember my way through Rivindell. We have been catching up on what had happened in the last few hundred years.

The stars twinkled with happiness and delight. The night was still with a sense of peace. Although all elves were resting, Dess and I stayed awake to talk. Elrond I believe was in his study, Legolas was visiting on a small errand from his father Thranduil.

Princess Vanadessë and I were walking down the hallway and I was listening to her talk about Elrohir. Apparently he tried to prank her and failed miserably. As I said before, it was around midnight and not one elf was up, except us and maybe the occasional guard.

"So then Elrohir gave me the-" Vanadessë stopped talking abruptly. "Elladan! I can hear you! You can't sneak up on me that easily!" She called into the late night.

Suddenly, an orc jumped out of a bush in front of us. It's ugly face was hidden in the darkness of the night. But still you could see the bow it held. Vanadessë gave a slight yelp and I reached towards my bow, only to find it gone. I realised that I only had my sword and that I had left my bow next to my bed.

The orc pulled out an arrow, aimed for me, and let the arrow fly. The arrow missed by a long shot, and the orc ran. I took off after it, catching up easily.

It turned and snarled at me, raising a rusty blade. I raised my own in return. We charged at each other and soon, the orc was headless on the ground. Blood pooling from where it's head used to be. I kicked it one last time.

Disgusting orc filth.

Turning around I gasped at the sight. Vanadessë was laying on the ground, an arrow sticking out of her side. I quickly ran towards her and dropped to my knees. Vanadessë was gasping for air, her hands clenched into balls because of the pain.

Vanadessë looked at me, eyes watering, "Vanáezae. It h-hurts."

"Shh, be still," I whispered.

I moved to remove the arrow but she stopped me. She shook her head no.

"Leave it," she said.

Vanadessë coughed and squeezed her eyes shut. Opening them back up she said, "T... Take care of my dragons... a-and tell Legolas... tell Legolas that he has been the brightest st-star in all my life."

"Dess, you'll be okay. I know you will. You always get better," I said, tears clouding my vision.

Vanadessë chuckled, "It seems not this time, mellon."

I looked down, tears spilling.

Vanadessë pulled out a paper from her side bag. Share handed it to me, "Please. G-Give this to... Ada."

I shook my head, "Give it to him yourself."

I heard footsteps coming towards us. I looked up and saw Legolas walking around the corner. Legolas looked up from the ground and at us. He ran forward and dropped to his knees.
