On the request of my best friend, here are some best lines we all love from this book :

Whatever had happened so far, I still remember her flawless smile.

That was the best part about being a kid: you get a tiny world of fairytale to live in without  sneaking out in the real, great big world.

She was the only rare painting I would spend my whole life observing.

Love, have you ever felt that way? When something real happens to hearts, like in an insant it becomes alive? When you realize that all along before love, it was lifeless. Not like dead, but just like a fish swimming alone in a big vast ocean. I think it's called lifeless. Alive, but lifeless.
Life meant more than just breathing every day.

"All my heart knew and saw there
Were your lost eyes, drenched in tears
let me hug the girl of my summer's dream
But that was last night, when winter arrived"

Sometimes, I terribly wished that money could buy me happiness.

When we could be as real as we've been made, then why we needed to pretend?

They called it loneliness, I called it freedom.

Looks are just like a curtain, the one you open every morning. That is when you see the real view.

How could I write about pain when I didn't even know what it was?

That was how I wished to live : alive and free.

I thought that maybe if I disappeared tomorrow, no one would really notice.

Everything that ever came together would fall apart eventually.

You should be happy that you're alive, which is rare. You have life and you gotta protect it kid, it's  yours. Make the best out of it.

Beyond that world
Across the moon and stars
There is a vast space
I'll meet you there
And love you all over
Even if I don't know
What the hell love is

All I thought was that my life was an empty desert, but the moment I saw her, some flowers grew there and in an instant, it wasn't a desert anymore, but a secret garden which I could only visit.

Eventually one day, we all would become old faces in a photograph.

"There is a green field across the sea
With sky so blue and a valley below
I'll meet you there, without my heart
As it's all yours, I want you to know"

Beside me, she smelled like strawberries, cigarette being drank on a balcony, frigid dawns and all the goodness in the world.

•"This road is far from home
The one where you don't belong
So close your sparkling eyes
Let the stars shine for a while
You'll stay with me, forever long
As this road is far from home"

As if, there was some invisible force dragging me towards her; as if our hearts were attached together with a fragile string.

I was gawky and scared. She was beautiful and fearless.

I had seen movies in which no matter what tragedy happened before, the end was always beautiful. Most of the times, the hero with his unbeatable heroism would be saved in the end with some immediate miracle.
I hoped that would work for me too.
