It Just Can't Be

Pt. 37 "Yea, she will!"

    
Jugheads POV:
    Bettys tummy started to grow a bit. I was beyond excited to see my beautiful baby! We had talked about names. For a boy Betty suggestive Maddox, I agreed as long as it wasn't Forsyth Pendleton Jones the 4th. For a girl she suggested something short, and simple, Amy. She wanted the middle name to be something short as well, something like Lee or may, or Ace. I liked Lee the best out of those 3. Days turned into Weeks, which turned to months until finally it was time to go find out our babys gender.

     "Well Mr and Mrs. Jones, take a look and see what you think" the doctor said and she rubbed the jelly stuff on Bettys tummy. "Look right there" she said and pointed at a small thing on the screen. Everything was black and grey. It was very cloudy but I was able to see the shape of the baby. "A girl" Bettys whispered. "Yep, a baby girl" the doctor said smiling at us. They wiped the jelly off of her tummy and Betty jumped up giving me a hug. "Thank you Juggie" she said and rested her head and my chest. "So, are we settling for Amy?" I asked her. She pulled away from the hug and looked at me. "Amy, or Olivia, we could call her Liv" she said.

     "I like Olivia too" I told her. "Then Olivia it is!" She exclaimed. We drove home in my truck since she wasn't supposed to be riding the motorcycle. Once we arrived Betty looked very pale. I unlocked the door quickly for Betty and she ran in and went straight the the bathroom. I kicked my shoes off and followed after her. I opened the door to find her sitting in the floor laughing. "Why are you laughing Betts" I asked her. I laughing a bit as well. "I don't know" she said. I helped her up and she rinsed her mouth out. We decided to watch a few movies and snack on Popcorn. Soon Betty was fast asleep in my arms, and me asleep too.

Bettys POV:
     I was still upset about what happened with my mom. I was so mad at her for saying what she had. I hoped that she never spoke to me again. I was fine with that! I was mainly upset because I missed my younger brother Liam. I miss his cry and his laugh and smile. I woke up thinking about him. I reached over to grab my phone and called Reggie. It rang for a minute before I heard "Hey, this is Reggie, I'm probably busy fucking your girl right now so leave a message" and then a long beep followed. "Shit" I said under my breath a few tears rolling down my cheeks. I was Trying to be quite so I wouldn't wake Jughead up but that was a fail.
   
     His eyes fluttered open and he looked at me.  "Hey Betts, what's wrong?" He asked and sat up with me. "Nothing, I was just thinking who it Liam" I confessed to him and wiped some tears from my eyes. "Oh, I'm sure you will get to see him soon, but it's 5am Betts" he whispered. Oh, that must be why Reggie didn't answer I realized before laying back down with Jughead and trying my best to get back to sleep.

Time Pass
 
     I woke up for the dancing time this morning to my phone ringing. I lifted my eyelids to see the name. Reggie.   I jumped up from Jugheads lap and grabbed my phone running out of the room. "Hey Reggie!" I exclaimed as I answered it. "Betty! How are you, are you doing ok with the baby?" He asked me "yes I'm perfect, I was just missing you, and Liam" I told him honestly "want me to bring him over sometime?" He asked me "I'm sure I could get him over there without Alice realizing" "oh he's Reggie that would be amazing!" I exclaimed. "Ok, well can we come today?" He asked. My eyes filled with excitement. "Yes!" I exclaimed.

     The call ended shortly and Jughead come around the corner. "Who was that?" He asked me "it was Reggie, he said he would bring Liam by today!" I said excitedly. "That's great Betts!"

Jugheads POV:
       "Hey guys" I said as I opened the door to let Reggie and Liam in. "Wassup Jug" Reggie said pulling me into a hug. "Liam!" Betty yelled from behind me. She ran to Reggie and stole Liam from his arms. Liam jumped in her arms excitedly "sissy! Sissy!" He babbled. "Hello Liam, I've missed you" Betty said in a baby voice. The rest of the day we talked and Betty played with Liam. A lot! She really missed him. Soon it had gotten late and Reggie had to leave. "I'll see you soon right?" Betty said as she buckled Liam up in the back of Reggies car. "Ya" he answers. Betty kisses his forehead before closing the door.

     "I think you'll see him again, so don't worry" Reggie said as he pulled her into a hug. "I hope so" she mumbled. "You will Betty, I promise" he said pulling away from the hug. Soon he was in the car and gone out of sight. "Don't worry Betts, I'm sure you will get to see him a lot!" I told her as we went back inside.

Time Pass
    "Juggie" I was awoken to Betty shaking me a little bit. "Juggie wake up hurry we have to go! My water just broke" at that I jumped up and grabbed the bag we had packed for the hospital. I was a nervous wreck. Betty was calm though. "Jug, I'm alright just calms down" she said laughing at me. "Are you sure what's even happening?" I asked her frantically.

     Soon we were at the hospital and Betty was in a room. I hoped everything would go alright. "Baby Liv will be here soon" Betty whispered at me. "Yea, she will" I couldn't help but smile at those words. My baby would be here soon!
