1) I stay up late reading/gaming
2) Mom wakes me up earlier than I want
3) I either get up gradually as she watches me or go back to sleep if she lets me
4) I sleep later than she wants
5) Mom gets mad for missing dad on his lunch hour
6) I interact with dad for a bit
7) I sit down to "breakfast" thinking, "What a lovely start to my day..."
8) I reversed my thoughts, thinking, "If I hadn't stayed up and slept so late in the first place, mom wouldn't be mad at me. This is my fault."
9) I reversed my thoughts again, thinking, "There you go, blaming yourself again. She could've been a little nicer about it."
10) I reverse again: "Yeah, but the fact remains that you need to sleep more, which means you gotta work on your gaming problem."
11) I avoid my thoughts or get stuck in a loop while my breakfast get soggy/cold
12) I write my thought cycle down on a tiny sticky note or two
13) I vow to never let my parents read this while simultaneously wondering if I can share this to the Discord #vent channel for an ounce of sympathy
14) I remember I left my phone upstairs, and that's why I'm writing this on a tiny sticky note in the first place
15) My hand cramps up, so I put the pen down and go back to eating.
