Moonlight From Above

CHAPTER 23

"One only, okay?"

Hailey smiled and nod at me after she took a bear from the toy store and when I faced Megan she's busy scrolling on her phone.

"Where's Callum, Hailey?" She asked at my daughter Hailey and she shrugged while busy hugging her bear.

"What do you mean where is Callum? Diba ikaw ang nagbabantay? Saan naman sila pupunta?" We were about to walk away from our spot when a woman came close to me.

"Hi, i'm a fan, I really love your last ramp at the last fashion week!" I smiled at the girl while i'm still nervous. "Can we have a picture together?"

"I'll find them." Megan looked at me looking so sorry while Hailey was just sitting talking to her bear when the woman took a picture with me and the moment she left I hold my daughter's hand and took out my phone.

"Megan, where the hell are you?" I asked while still feeling so nervous. "Nakita mo na ba sila?!"

"Hindi pa, Ate, maybe we should ask for help na!" She's voice sounds like she's about to cry and when my eyes laid on the right side where the two boys at, Callum was looking at some books while Hardin is staring at the television where a famous kpop band is dancing. Twice, of course, just like his dad.

"Kuya, you're dead." Piningot ko ang tenga ni Hardin at siya naman ay parang walang pake na tinuturo sa akin yung mga babaeng nagsasayaw.

"Mama, I want to court them." She said while pointing at the girl group.

I remembered the days when i'm pregnant with the both of them, nahilig din ako sa kpop at sobrang hirap din at sobrang raming gusto kong kainin na nasa Pilipinas. Hailey Margareth Arceo and Hardin Glex Arceo, they're both my moonlights and I love them so much.

I stared at the hairpin Hailey's wearing right now it's the hairpin his Dad gave to me while Hardin is wearing the necklace Hollace gave to me. I don't need those to remind me of their Dad because by just looking at them, it already reminds me of him, it reminds me those days with their Dad.

"Mom, i'm sleepy na." I smiled to Hailey as she closed her eyes after lying them on the bed while Hardin was playing games on his phone.

"Tita Ganda." I looked at Callum and lumipat naman ako sa kama niya dahil magkakasama silang tatlo sa iisang kwarto. "Can you tell me again about my Daddy Caleb?"

I smiled at him and caressed his hair. Callum knows who his Dad is but Hailey and Hardin doesn't know about Hollace, all they know is that their father is a lawyer.

"Your Dad is the nicest guy I ever met. He's a kind of person who'll think of others first. If he's alive right now i'm sure that he loves you so much just like Mami Megan."

It was so hard for us both, Megan and Me. Marcus were the one taking care of us and it'll be impossible for us to survive New York without Ms. Elizabeth and Dalton.

"Hey, Marga." I smiled at Dalton as he entered the kids' room in our penthouse here in New York. Marcus is living on his own condo and i'm the one paying for it of course dahil nag-aaral pa siya ng course niyang Engineering.

"Dalton." I smiled at him and he gave me a bouquet of flowers.

"Congrats to the most in demand model." I rolled my eyes at him and he gave me a hug. "While I was in Toronto I was watching the live and Mom were so proud while watching you walk. Sobrang ganda mo."

I laughed when he tried to speak tagalog. He's half American and half Filipino.

"Thanks, Dalton." He looked at Hardin who's still playing on his phone.
