CHAPTER 40

I was busy cooking foods for my twins and my husband when suddenly someone came closer behind my back and nuzzled his nose to my neck while planting small kisses at my nape. I already know it's my husband because of his familiar scent that I always love to sniff.

"You smeels good more than what you are cooking, wife. Ikaw nalang kaya kainin ko?"

"Our whole week in Japan was already full of sex and kahit andoon na ang mga bata hindi ka pa 'din nagpaawat tapos ngayon gusto mo pa?" I said with my unbelievably voice and tsked.

"What's wrong about that? I'm your husband and you're my hell of a hot wife." He said with his sexy voice and trying to put inside my shirt his hand and moved his fingertip in a circular motion at my tummy.

"Hollace, pag ikaw nakita ng mga bata."

"Fine, i'll stop." I can feel he's smirking even though i'm not facing him and my eyes widened when he cupped my butt making me glare at him. "Later, wife."

I rolled my eyes and took a spoon to have a taste of the food I cooked and when I already know it tastes delicious, I called the maids to help me set up the table for my family to eat.

"Lacus?" I said after seeing Marcus sitting on the sofa together with the kids while they're watching some series. "What are you doing here?"

"It's sad in my condo, i'm alone so." He showed me his key and smiled. "Drived a long way to feel some little entertainment from your kids."

"You're always welcome here." I smiled and I turned off the television. "It's time to eat, pumunta na kayo sa kainan, tatawagin ko lang si Hollace."

They all stood up while I started walking to go upstairs to call for my husband whom I think is busy again at his office probably doing something related to his profession.

I opened the door of his office and I saw my husband with his glasses reading some cases while massaging his forehead and I came closer to him and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"It's time to eat, Hollace."

"Hmm." He said the moment he hugged me while he's still sitting on his chair and i'm standing still beside him. He buried his face on my tummy while pulling me even closer to him. "The kids are with Marcus downstairs."

"And so?"

"Quickie, wife?" I rolled my eyes and made him stood up, I heard him sighed but I hate it whenever the foods waits for us so we both walked downstairs together and I can already see the twins and Marcus together with Manang waiting for us.

"Bayaw." Hollace said after he patted Marcus' shoulder and Marcus just nod and leaned on his chair.

"Musta pamangkin mo?" Marcus asked with curiosity and longing visible at his eyes. I tsked and placed foods on the kids' plate.

"Doing great, I guess?" Hollace shrugged and also placed dishes on my plate while he's still talking to my brother. "What is the problem between the two of you? Maybe I could help?"

"Nah, I can handle this, focus with your family with Ate." Marcus smiled and he started eating while i'm still eyeing at him and he looked up at me and with his brows furrowed while the spoon is still in his mouth.

"Ask for help from us, Lacus. Do you think seeing you sad is a great view for me? Tell me the problem later."

"Ate, I can handle this i'm already old enough i'm not the Marcus before who'll always expect for you and Ate Megan to be beside me always. It's time for you to focus on your own family and Megan and I are both greatful. But it's time for you to focus more with the kids and your husband. We'll be doing fine."
