CHAPTER 4

Grabe naman sobrang raming research, tatlong subject lang naman namin ang may research at sa paghahanap pa lang ng topic at pagbibigay ng title nakakastress na agad.

"Hey." I looked up and saw Hollace and he sat beside me. "Ano ginagawa mo? Bakit ka mag-isa?"

"I'm waiting for my groupmates, ikaw?"

"Pinapahanap kami ng reference." He said and he rested his arm at my chair's top rail.

"Oh nakahanap ka na ba? Bakit ka andito pa-"

"Yeah, i'm done, look." He showed the listed books, authors, and pages for their references and darn ang galing! Ang dami niyang na-ilagay.

"Ang galing, matalino ka siguro?" He shrugged and played with his pen. "Eh bakit ka nasa lower section?"

"Babe, if your records are bad it's already automatic for them that your acads will be in bad state too. You know? Stereotyping." Yeah, ganyan naman talaga yung iba, porke puro kalokohan ka sa school akala nila hangang ganyan ka nalang na wala ka naman talagang ma-ibubuga.

"Eh bakit ka pa nagpapaturo sa akin sa Gen Math? Mahina ka ba sa numbers?"

"Not really, mas gusto ko lang talaga memorizing and vocabularies." He said as he stared at my eyes and it made me feel awkward. "Are you still seeing Caleb?"

"H-Ha? Bakit naman hindi? Eh bestfriend ko 'yon."

"Good luck on moving on from him then, magiging imposible 'yon kung nakikita mo pa 'rin siya." He leaned at his chair and my eyes followed his while his arm is still at the top rail of my chair.

"Bakit naman?"

"Let me give you an example, lesson sa niyo sa Funda, Entrepreneurship, o kaya sa Business Finance pa-ulit ulit na dinidiscuss sa inyo, makakalimutan mo ba?"

"H-Hindi."

"Exactly, if you'll keep on seeing him, hearing his voice, and thinking of him you'll be definitely doomed and stucked."

"W-What can I do?" I asked with my unclear voice.

He removed his arm at the top rail and hold my chin making my eyes widen, he moved his face closer to mine.

"Focus on me, babe, no one else." I bit my lip while he looked at it and touched it to remove it from my bite. "Damn you're such a tease, babe."

"Leche ka." I pushed him and he laughed while holding his stomache.

"Damn pinapasakit mo abs ko." I rolled my eyes at him and napansin kong papadating na ang mga groupmates ko.

"Uy andiyan na sila, hindi ka pa ba aalis?" I asked him.

"Hmm ma-una na ako, may klase pa ako sa Media eh." He stood up and patted my head before he left.

Half day lang ako ngayon at dahil wala prof namin sa Contemporary arts andito kami ngayon sa library, kailangan na nga namin madaliin Funda 2 pa sunod namin.

Natapos ang klase ko ngayon at dumiretso agad ako palabas at nanlaki ang mata ko nang makita ang mga varsity ng school na nagtatawanan at andoon si Caleb. Agad akong umiwas at pumunta sa ibang gawi palabas ng school.

"Hey, Ate." I looked at Hollace leaning at the wall at the waiting shed and he came close to me. "Give me your hair tie."

"H-Huh? What for?"

He looked at my wrist where my hair tie is placed and he took.

He hold my hair in a gentle way and I was just looking at him while he's looking at my hair and darn it! Bakit ganito siya?!
