Kara's POV

"You want us... to leave Sydney?" I ask feeling my heart break at the thought of leaving my home... which always has been Australia. Ashton gave a small nod before he collapsed on the couch. Putting his face in his hands. I got up from the couch, I ran upstairs to my room and grabbed my keys before I ran downstairs and saw that Faith and Luke were gone as well. I heard Southy make a crying sound which hurt me. I quickly went out the front door. I got in my Jeep and started driving.

What am I doing? I have to be overreacting but... I love the guys... I can't loose them so... I'mma have to move with them. But if this is going to be my last time in Australia... I should enjoy it while I can... just one last time... make the most of the time we have left in Sydney. I think.

I turned on the radio to try and distract myself but the song that was playing was Going to California by Led Zeppelin. I then felt more tears come to my eyes. I changed the station immediately and the song that was playing was California Girls by Katy Perry. I then punched my radio off and continued driving. Not knowing where to go to be by myself.

After I drove around for about an hour. I found myself parking at the beach that was empty. It's only empty because it's starting to rain and the wind is blowing. I got out of my Jeep and took off my shoes and started walking on the beach. I eventually sat down on the sand, I closed my eyes and listened to the waves splashing onto the rocks and the sand. I smiled slightly as I took in the familiar scent of Australia, the salt water smells, the birds chirping in the distance, the wind blowing through the leaves of the trees, and so many other things that won't be the same in California. There's always a difference between California and Australia.

I wrapped my arms around myself as it was starting to get darker and the wind was blowing colder. I rubbed my hands together for warmth. I then heard a high pitched noise that sounded like bells. I looked over and saw Southy runny towards me.

"Hey buddy!" I smile as I opened my arms for him. Southy then jumped onto my lap and started licking my face.

"Hey, there you are." I hear the voice of Michael behind me. He then wrapped a blanket around me, causing a small smile to form on my lips. Michael sat beside me, I opened one side of the blanket and wrapped it around him as I cuddled into him. "I'm sorry Kara." He whispers as he leaned his head on the top of my head.

"It's okay... I just... I'm not ready to leave Sydney... Australia has always been my home." I reply honestly. "I don't want to leave all the good memories."

"I know, it's been my home my whole life too... but, we can always make more memories." He tells me and then kissed my head. "We're all here for each other."

"You're right... home isn't a place." I start. I moved my head off his shoulder and looked up at him. His green eyes full of sadness. "Home is where we are... where we make it." I whispered as I looked side to side at each of his eyes. "Home is your people, possibly one person."

"You're maturing and it's scaring me." Michael laughs and I join in.

"Am not, it's just not the time to be joking around." I reply as I playfully slapped his chest.

"That's it." Michael says. Out of nowhere, Michael grabbed my shoulders and pinned me down on the sand and he crawled on top of me, causing me to start laughing.

"Mikey! Get off me!" I laugh. Southy then started barking. "Help Southy!" I yell. Southy then barked more at Michael. "Get him, get daddy!" I encourage him. Southy got into playing position and barked again and then growled. Causing me to laugh. I looked up at Michael and saw his cheeks were red as he was either blushing or flustered. "What's wrong Mikey?"

"You called me daddy." He says as his face grew more red.

"Oh shush it!" I laugh as I rolled us over so I was on top. I tightened my pony tail and smiled at my success. I felt Michael's hands come to my hips. I leaned down and met my lips to his, taking in the moment.

After having our little moment. I stood up and helped him up off the sand and saw Mikey smiling at me. I took my phone out and quickly took a picture of him.
