Kara's POV
After school, I started putting my text books into my locker. Humming happily to Permanent Vacation that was stuck in my head. I was happy all the way until a voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Oh hey Kara." I heard the familiar voice that made my blood boil. I sighed and closed my locker seeing a smirking Chloe leaning against the lockers.
"What do you want Chloe? I thought I told you to leave me alone." I reply while crossing my arms. Chloe laughs and it made a bad feeling in my stomach.
"I just wanted to tell you." Chloe starts as she stopped leaning against the lockers and stood in front of me. "He didn't love you when he was on me. I mean how could he love you? Look at you!" Chloe pretended to throw up when she says the last sentence as she looked me up and down. I felt insecurity build up inside me.
"Ugh Chloe get over yourself, we all know that Michael was moaning Kara's name when that happened, plus that was last year. Go find someone else and don't mess with our family." Ella says. I looked over at her and saw Faith standing beside her they both looked pissed.
"Or we'll come back at you harder." Faith finishes and crosses her arms. I saw Chloe's face burn with anger and stomp off.
"Thank you for having my back." I say relieved as Ella and Faith came up to me.
" No problem, did she hurt you? " Faith asks as she studied my face.
"No I'm fine." I sigh. I honestly felt my feelings hurt. It kinda hurt hearing her say that he didn't love me when he was on her. We all started walking out of the school. All 4 of us were on face time with Cassie on my phone. We saw she was currently packing some of her stuff. I was driving my Jeep to my house, Ella in the passenger seat, and Faith in the middle in the back seat so she could see all of us.
"Okay so any ideas of what we could call the song?" I ask as I turned the Jeep onto a main street that's always busy after school.
"Hm... Maybe something that has to do with the theme of Prom?" Cassie suggests. I nod in agreement.
"Okay so... Hmm... Prom night?" Ella starts thinking out loud. "No..."
"I do like the first word to be Prom or something close to it. Maybe... Um... This is a lot harder than it seems, isn't it?" I say while I laugh.
"Prom dress? No... Hmm... Oh! How about Prom Queen? " Faith starts. I snap my fingers.
"I like it, what do you think Cass?" I reply excitedly.
"I like it too, Prom Queen it is!" Cassie tells us and we all cheer.
