THIRD PERSON POV
Y/N had walked out of her room and saw the two of them kissing against the wall. Haeyoung was against the wall, with her hands grabbing Jeongin's face.
Y/N freezes up at the sight. Haeyoung notices Y/N standing there and smirks at her, continuing to kiss him. Jeongin notices that she was standing there and quickly pulls away. He stands there and looks at Y/N with widened eyes; he had no idea what to say to her.
Y/N had this certain look in her eyes that Jeongin couldn't explain. Devastation, hurt, sadness; he was able to pin point that. Before Jeongin could say anything, Y/N gives him one last cold look and walks past them and downstairs.
Jeongin didn't know why Y/N looked so angry and upset. Sure, Y/N and Haeyoung aren't exactly friends, but he thought that Y/N shouldn't have been angry, because she was the one who didn't want to be in a relationship.
Jeongin didn't really expect that kiss to happen, though. Haeyoung made herself stand against the wall and grabbed his face, forcefully kissing her. Before he could pull away.. well.. Y/N already saw it. Jeongin didn't want to kiss Haeyoung, he didn't even like her at all.
Clearly this meant to him that Y/N thought he was playing her and only spitting out bullshit. He didn't know how to feel, because part of him was guilty for letting the kiss even happen. The other part felt confused, because Y/N was the one who told him she doesn't want to be with them.
He wanted to explain himself to Y/N and tell her that he meant everything he had said to her, but he knew it was too late. The look in Y/N's eyes that she gave Jeongin just said it all. He knew he really fucked up this time, and he felt absolutely horrible.
"You should go," he tells Haeyoung.
"Why?" She asks him, frowning.
"I'm feeling sick." He lies to her.
"Will you call me later?" She clings onto him.
"Sure." He lies again.
He leads her downstairs and shuts the door as soon as she steps out, making sure to lock the door. Jeongin turns around and sees Y/N sitting next to Lee Chan with her head hanging down low, her gaze scarier than ever.
"She left already?" Soonyoung asks him.
"Yeah." Jeongin nods his head.
"Why? Did something happen?" Jeonghan looks at him with curiosity.
Y/N scoffs bitterly and doesn't say anything, which confused Jeongin even more. She was clearly upset yet he didn't quite know why, and it was angering him because she was the one who didn't want to get back together.
"Nothing happened." Jeongin lies to them all.
Y/N was astonished that he had the nerve to lie to everyone else, too. It wouldn't hurt to be completely honest, as she thought. She was in utter disbelief and she didn't know how to really feel. She felt betrayed and disrespected, and almost jealous.
She felt toxic because she told Jeongin that she didn't want to get back with him, yet she's feeling jealous. Her feelings were just all jumbled up into a huge mess and so was Jeongin's. Both of them didn't know how to feel.
"Y/N over here looks pissed." Lee Chan emphasizes the word.
"Did something actually happen, Jeongin?" Soonyoung gets suspicious of him.
"Nothing did." Jeongin lies again.
Y/N scoffs again, still not believing her ears. All of the guys get suspicious and skeptical, because her look just said it all. Besides, they were both upstairs until Y/N stormed downstairs with a major look on her face.
"Hmm.. okay." Jihoon hesitates.
"Why'd she leave so early?" Jeonghan asks him.
"She just, uh.. I just told her to leave." Jeongin answers.
"So.. something did happen." Soonyoung grits his teeth, getting worried for his sister.
"Y/N, did something happen?" Soonyoung asks Y/N.
Jeongin suddenly got nervous since he asked her, and she saw everything. If she told them what happened, they would find out that he lied to them multiple times. The room went silent as they all waited for Y/N to answer.
"None of my business." Y/N coldly responds.
"Welp.." Lee Chan sighs.
Jeongin joins them on the sofa as an attempt to make everything less awkward, since they were still playing video games. As soon as he sat down, he easily noticed that Y/N tensed up quickly and looked uncomfortable. He saw Y/N clenching her fists tightly while having a scary glare in her eyes.
"So, is she your girlfriend, Jeongin?" Jeonghan asks him.
"No." Jeongin responds.
"Are you lying about that, too?" Y/N speaks up, shooting a cold glare right at Jeongin.
