THIRD PERSON POV

"Are you lying about that, too?" Y/N remarks, giving Jeongin the coldest glare anyone couldn't have given him.

Jeongin was taken aback by her sudden remark, because she sounded so harsh and scary, and she's never been this harsh sounding to him before. Not to mention, the glare that she gave him.. he really got shivers down his spine because he's never seen that glare from her before.

He didn't know what to say; his throat felt all clumped up and it prevented him from speaking. All eyes were on Jeongin because they were anticipating what he was going to say. They were also in complete shock at Y/N's response to him.

"I.. I'm not lying." He finally speaks up.

"Bullshit." Y/N snickers.

"The air here is clearly tense. One of you should go somewhere else." Soonyoung looks at both of them with a serious gaze.

"I'd be happy to." Y/N stands up immediately.

She goes upstairs into her room and all of them can hear her room slam shut loudly. Jeongin gulps, feeling absolutely lost. He knew he couldn't explain himself to Y/N, he felt like it was a lost cause. She was clearly upset yet he still couldn't figure out why.

"Did something happen, Jeongin? Be honest. Don't lie to us." Jihoon asks him.

Jeongin gulps. "Haeyoung kissed me." He finally confessed to them.

"Why is Y/N so upset, then?" Soonyoung squints his eyes at Jeongin.

"Y/N and Haeyoung kinda had some drama going on between them before." He explains to his hyungs.

"Why?" Jeonghan asks him.

"Haeyoung used to pick on her for no reason." Jeongin sighs.

"..But you still invited her to our house?" Soonyoung stares at Jeongin.

"She told me she changed." Jeongin tries explaining himself.

"It doesn't matter if she changed, if she disrespected Y/N and you still invited her over, you're disrespecting me as Y/N's older brother." Soonyoung glares at the helpless boy.

"I- I'm sorry.." Jeongin mumbles, his head hanging low.

"I know you're better than this. Why would you really do that, Jeongin?" Soonyoung asks him.

"I don't know." Jeongin whispers.

"What happened between you and Y/N?" Lee Chan asks him.

"I told her I wanted to be with her and she told me she didn't want to date anyone." He explains.

"... so you invite over someone who bullied Y/N as revenge?" Jihoon sighs.

"It wasn't revenge!" Jeongin wasn't even sure himself.

"Haeyoung told you she changed probably because she wants you. That's it, point blank period." Jeonghan breathes out deeply.

"I-" Jeongin didn't know what to say.

They all had a point. He disrespected Soonyoung and Y/N, and he could've prevented that if he really thought about it first. He felt stupid because he caused more problems when he could've just sat back and thought smartly about it. He knew Jeonghan was right and he felt absolutely stupid.

"Trying to get revenge in any way is childish, Jeongin. I know you know better." Jihoon looks at him with a strict gaze.

Jeongin had to admit, he invited Haeyoung over as a way to make Y/N feel hurt.

"You broke my sister. You both are broken." Soonyoung sighs deeply.

Jeongin breathed out with frustration raising all throughout his body. He instantly regret agreeing to Haeyoung coming over because it only made things worse. He regret trying to get revenge. He begins tearing up, breaking down completely.

Words couldn't even explain how Jeongin felt. He knew it was all his fault and he could've prevented everything from happening if he wasn't thinking so recklessly. He felt even worse, because he wanted Y/N to feel hurt.. all because she told him she didn't want to be with him. He wanted revenge, and he got it. Yet, he still feels like absolute shit.

"For now, just please think carefully next time." Jihoon tells him.

"But why is she so hurt? I kissed her, so what?" Jeongin vents out his feelings.

"You invited someone who was being a bitch to my sister and on top of that, you kiss her right next to Y/N's room." Soonyoung shakes his head in disappointment.

"You should go say sorry to her, Jeongin." Jeonghan suggests to him.

Jeongin shakes his head instantly.

"I can't, she will never forgive me.." his voice cracks.

"Doesn't hurt to try."
